did anyone else lose everything in their bank when the servers came back up?

i did they gave back my monkey pet but i lost everything else. not gonna lie kinda upset about it.

    Yes I mainly want a refund for the price of bank upgrades and also the 70000+ gold I foolishly put in there for us with my alts to buy bag space etc the mats and other missing items are annoying but loss of use of my bank and the hard earnt gold are too much to deal with... that's the sort of thing they could easily replace with simple ingame mail of X amount of gold . BUT only once the fixed the cause of it as I see more people still getting hit by everyday.

    I didn't check my bank directly, but all of my stuff for crafting was still accessible. This doesn't seem to have been a very widespread problem.

    I did not lose all my stuff, but I lost the two bank upgrades I had purchased. The first cost 1000g, the second 3000g. I also lost the extra 15+ items that would have been in those slots.

    Yes.

    That is terribly unfortunate. I got all of my stuff back, from motifs to stale bread.

    I lost some stuff (all crafting mats) and two tiers of bank upgrades, but not all my stuff.

    It's okay though, I know that they're swamped and it's not a big deal compared to some other, more serious issues they're trying to resolve.

    I've given up on the other stuff but I hope I get my monkey back some day!..

    You are not alone, this thread also contains people that this has happened to. As well as people who lost their bank inventory before the shut down.

    EDIT: Also I noticed when this happened to me and my Monkey pet was deleted, it was was automatically mailed back to me 30 mins-1 hour later. This was the first indicator that something was wrong and when I went to my bank to see why I had got a second monkey all my stuff was gone.

    No, I did not. I was one of the fortunate people who didn't lose anything when the launch came back up. (I would have lost a lot if that had happened). It would be a good idea to contact a GM and talk about obtaining the rest of your lost items. I wish you luck :open_mouth:

    Oh no! I only have the pet monkey in there. I hope I didn't lose it. For those who lost more than I did, what did support tell you? That they can't roll it back?

    Customer service has been mute on the subject. All they do is send you a canned email response. Worst part is they don't even state if a resolution will result in a player rollback. I'm not going to play and level if my toon is going to be rolled back to restore my bank. Mind you I lost 18,000 gold, 20 stacks of 100 crafting items, and 3 bank upgrades so waiting is my only real option.

    For those that say they lost stuff, check all your characters inventory's, you're probably in trouble if you only had one character, but otherwise the "missing" stuff has tended to show up in alts inventories. Losing the bank upgrades sucks though, I had 3 upgrades so I'm out 9k :(

    I lost 4 upgrades (40 slots) with crafting materials as well (bank dropped from 100 slots to 60 slots, everything above 60 slots is unnacessible or lost. I bought slots up to 80 again but items did not appeared so I blame a nightblade thief to stole them from me and i don't trust Tamriel bankers. It was really weird they dont take any fine for their banking service, so this is probably their way how to get paid for their expenses :expressionless:

    At least I dont think I lost my bank space... Maybe two characters though, which is quite a few hours of investment even if they were all still relatively low level, not lost per say... Just cant log into em.

    At the bottom is a copy of the customer support response I got when I ran into this same problem--- you can see the timestamp to see how well it's gone so far.

    I logged in the night before I got this response and had duplicate emails for my Rings of Mara and another pet. I happened to be at the bank and checked it right after. Sure enough-- my 90 slots had been reset to 60 and all of my items (including tons of mats-- though not as many as you) were poof gone.
    I tried /reloadui, /stuck, and relogging. Nada.
    Then, magically, most of my missing items reappeared on one of my alts the following morning.
    His personal inventory was deleted to make room for all the bank crap reappearing on him, but whatever. I was still out 11,100 gold for the bank upgrades alone.

    I took the same stand you did: work around it until it was resolved.
    Well that was 5 days ago (almost exactly) and working with only 60 slots as an avid crafter just doesn't cut it.
    I sent them another ticket telling them to just send me a check for the 11,100 gold because I've since started re-buying all that bank space.
    At this point, I'd be happy with that.

    But take heart! (I guess.)
    They say that they have [somehow] "identified each and every adventurer who lost items, as well as each and every item that was lost." and that they will restore them all.

    Will it happen?

    As much as I appreciate the response, I am not 10 years old. I play a fantasy MMO, but when I ask for customer service, I am not in "the Game" and would much rather you spend time working on my problem than creating a "story" to explain why it is broken. Oh I am currently enrolled full time at PSU working on my degree in CS. I would much rather have you explain it to me like this,
    "Lisa, yesterday at 5pm a script ran that caused a erroneous code to be executed, because of this your bank has been reset back to 60 slots. Please know we are working diligently to restore this error"
    You see, that gives me confidence that someone that KNOWS how to fix this, has received my complaint. Because I KNOW, that whatever time my bank reset, it is recorded into your database. I KNOW that whatever script ran or failed to run also was recorded in your database. What I am NOT confident of, is whether there is anyone that is actually working on this can run a simple query to find it.
    EDIT OH, I have an EASY fix, You know I lost 40 slots, I really don't care about the stuff, the game is too new to bother with newbie rubbish. Give me the GOLD to buy my slots back and all will be made right in the world. Or in ZENO language, " Have the golden fairy sail through the cold, crisp air, whipping up a frenzy of gold coins that magically appear in my mail". Or in the real world each upgrade has a price, that unfortunately I cannot remember, because all I see is "Buy upgrade for 1000 gold" now. Look it up and refund my gold :) Problem solved.

    It's a common glitch.. just hope they can rollback the data and restore the players their items. (But I think they have to do this manual as it would cause too much conflict with the players who did not lose everything)

    Same thing happen to me i found most probably all my items on my ALTS only thing i wish they give me back is 20k that i spend for bank upgrades, if they EXPLAINED that they returned items to ALTS and give money that was in bank to one of ALTS + they send Money for bank upgrades back i will forget all this but .. damn it is now days no reply on support ticket :(

    I had 90 slots , also reverted back to 60 slots , submitted lots of reports and even a phone back , nada . Cancelled my subscription and had a response with in half an hour .

    The reason I cancelled my subscription is because at the moment I can't play . What happened was , my ingame bank account went from having ninety slots to only 60 slots . I have submitted bug reports tried to get an ingame game master . I need to know is it fixable or should I bite the bullet .

    I am suddenly without my membership at any guild - I belonged to four guilds and after the update I do not belong to any? I lost access to Guild stores etc!! Has this happened to anyone else?

    Loss of guild connection was temporary due to being assigned to a temporary shard (server) which did not have the guild info. It happened to me too. I relogged and had my guild connections back.

    Patience about the Bankslot Problem, it occurs if you log too fast btw your Charakters and tranfer alot Items out and into your Bankaccount.

    "So to be safe, when you transfer alot Items from one to another Char, log fully out into Patch Screen and then again on."

    Same for me, i lost around 20k Gold and 30 Bankspaces. After 2 Tickets, i got the Information that they try to solve this issue and you get all Items and Money back that you lost during this strange bug.

    I guess it will take them same time, but the good Point you cant loose anything anymore since 60 Slots is the minimum :pensive:
