Maybe don't talk down to other players. Just because a balance change affects your build doesn't mean it shouldn't go through. I'm not saying the cost increase is fine but perhaps you should try offering some better reasoning for your complaint. Comparing force pulse and lava whip morphs based purely on range and cost is being kinda ignorant.

I'm saying that a cost increase is obviously going to affect sustain...that's the point, but if you think the lava whip cost is too much by just comparing only the cost and range to force pulse is not really a justifiable reason to say it needs a cost reduction.

Except it’s on a longer range than other melee spammables. You can literally kite someone out of melee range and still hit them. So no. Cost is fine.

All melee range skills are longer range on a DK compared to other classes. That is not a valid argument in regards for the cost increase discussion.
The cost increase is supposedly to bring it in line with the single target spammable standard. Is there a definite difference in cost between melee and ranged spammables?

I play with 1400 mag recovery and run flame lash, not molten, in LIGHT armor, so knock 10% off the increases to embers, Fossilize etc. Embers often should be hit in succession but won’t cost THAT much more to wreck your sustain.
The increase to Fossilize is a nerf. Straight up, but you can’t Spam Fossilize anyways due to immunity. I run like 47k max mag on both bars. I don’t think it will be a problem.
Whips cost was increased PATCHES ago. What they’ve increased is the cost of things which easily give you molten whip stacks (while nerfing molten to boot). Now trying to run THAT trash (molten) now will definitely wreck your sustain.
You want damage run 2 piece kena and to hell with sustain. Lol.

you are absolutely wrong, in patch Elsweyr cost of whip - 2066 but on pts 2430!!! 2430-2066=364
