My guess:
-Suppose 50 Crowns represents 2 minutes of time.
-3 easy Skyshards in a starter zone = 6 minutes or 150 Crowns.
-1 Event Ticket = 250 crowns = 10 minutes.
So if the Fighter's Guild line is estimated to take 2 hours, then... 3000 Crowns?

✭✭✭✭✭I would say, since this is an "optional" payment... being realistic, something between 5000 - 15000 crowns per skill line.
Too little will mean that a lot of people might stop grinding.11 -

✭✭The main reason I don’t mind that much about them selling skill lines is my hope that they charge suitably eye-watering amounts - I would prefer people play the game, but hey, enough people have whinged over the years about the tediousness of doing things on alts, I’m not surprised they have now done this. But it needs to be expensive.
Also can someone on the pts please advise - how does this work in relation to collecting skyshards/skillpoints? If you have the skill line unlocked, doesn’t it make collecting skyshards redundant? And what about morphs? Do you get to chose?0 -

✭✭✭✭The more crucial/popular the skill line, the more expensive it will be. They know that there are a lot of PvEers that hate grinding Alliance skills so they'll probably make that one pretty high. Undaunted will probably be pretty high. I'm guessing in the 15k range.3 -

Well it was quite a childish question. I gave a simple yet true answer. I don’t necessarily like it, but do understand that for the game to be maintained and developed, it needs funds to pay for wages etc.

✭✭Well, imo the future skill lines will fall in the range of crafting boosts. 5000 wouldn't surprise me at all.
With that being said. I definitely hate grinding mages and psijic but if they do hover in that range ill take my happy a** back to basics.0 -
VoiDGhOs7✭✭✭✭Everything beyond 1K crowns is going to be too much. Why would you pay the DLC price or even a chapter price for a skill line, it simply doesn't make sense. Just take the Undaunted skill line as an example, worst case scenario it will take a couple of weeks if you play casually and if you play hardcore you can get it in one day. But I guess there's lot of whales who are eager to spend more shekels in the crown store.1 -
