You will note that every whine post about patch will include the word friends usually preceded by "many".
Dont understand why people like this plays MMOs . . . .
But yeah, I agree with the one person before be saying we are too busy cussing out the terrible game performance and currently laughing at the patch notes. Firstly over it's leak and rushed relevance without an open PTS too test the doom and gloom leading too more uncertainties. Then getting lead developer's comment that basically say "We are now forcing you too play this way" is truly a distasteful... and is most likely what will drive at least me from the game, wont speak for the friends I've made in game of course, that's their choice.

On topic, the consensus seems to be "here we go again." Mostly uneasy, perhaps cautious? Like when your 13 year old tells you that they're going to make you diner and your expections lie somewhere between a peanut and butter sandwich or burnt pizza.

We wanted to quickly provide some additional context for many of the combat changes in this update so that everyone has a better idea of our goals.
In Update 23 our main focus was to ensure there was an ultimate point of reference for abilities to properly match up against one another in their respective categories. This provides us with a solid baseline, where all abilities fit within a set of standards/power levels and allows future balancing passes to be much easier and timely.
We're aware that some content has been designed around old functionality of abilities that existed beyond our standards and might need some sort of compromise in regards to how you engage with it and/or how we balance it. This is something we will be watching closely, however we are not averse to the idea that players might need to adjust their current builds such as running more defensive Ultimates rather than offensive ones, or running more survival enhancing sets, rather than pure damage or buff oriented ones. Please also remember that we've introduced some new abilities to help offset the loss of things such as Healing Springs stacking, with abilities like Ring of Preservation, or the large increase to Cleansing Ritual.
As always, we will be monitoring feedback about all the balance changes during this PTS cycle, however we wanted to let everyone know that in a future PTS patch, the synergy from Orbs will not cause the Orb to vanish and can be activated multiple times by anyone not on synergy cool down.

I'm a LoneWolf PvP'er. I only have many enemies. Friends are for the weak.
Okay, just kidding.
In all honesty, there has been a lot of pessimism around the PTS notes and upcoming patch.
Super mixed reviews/reactions.
Some are freaking out completely and rolling new toons in anticipation, but panicking over whether or not those will be nerfed too.
Some are getting super weird and vehemently or even almost furiously/angrily defending the changes and coming unglued at every comment made against the changes. They're like the battered wife who screams at and then dumps her friends because they just don't understand that he's really a great guy and she deserved to...ummm...run into that cabinet.
The majority of us are rolling our eyes and feeling defeated and resigned to yet another "patch" cycle with more unnecessary changes to the very skills which enabled us to play through the breathtaking avalanche of bugs, more shiny new game breaking overpowered sets, and absolutely ZERO fixes to the real problems that plague this game. None. Like, who gives a spit about the wording of some stupid lorebook? Seriously? The trials are nearly all broken and bugged to high heavens, and PvP is a hot mess of freezes, lag, bugs, poorly implemented coding, and disconnects, and the entire game is a stuttering lagging mess. We've all started cancelling our subs and are just playing through what we can until we find out what they're pushing live so we can see if it's worth staying or finding a new hobby.
It's not the end of the world, obviously, since it's just a video game, but it's still pretty disappointing that something we enjoy so much and invested so much time in is falling into such disarray. C'est la vie.
They're probably too busy playing FFXIV to care.

Yeah I have been monkeying around with that game for a few years. Normally I hate FF games and jrpgs are too silly for me....but that game....idk what it is but they just seen to do everything right.
It's just a ton of fun and I LOVE trying different classes on the same character. The dancer class is normally something I would think is dumb but in this game....it just works.
Actually....I can't think of anything that game does wrong atm.

I worked for years with such women, in the 100's, and I can say I have never met one that dumped their friends as you so eloquently put it. That's the problem with gamers. They use shite analogies when they have little or no grasp on what they're comparing *** too.

for example, Flying Blade from the Dual Wield line, it has been a spammable damage with Major Brutality when it's cast, so last patch the Snare gets removed ok that's not bad, but now it's going to be a What?? a Utility skill ? Huh...after 4 1/2 years...Um ZOS, hello??? and now the Nightblade's Power Extraction removes Weapon damage from the opponent ??? um OK what if the enemy is a Magick user...maybe you forgot to add "will remove 300 weapon and spell damage to opponents hit for 8 sec's"
BDO is coming to PS4 on 8-20-19, I guess I'll be looking into playing that until they, ZOS, start getting their "Stuff" together..
this whale, yup I am, will start looking in an other direction soon. Now let me explain something, I have been with this game since it had early access on PC, then moved my characters to PS4 and spend a lot of money on this game, this week alone I spent about $400 easily. and now they just keep touching stuff and changing key game abilities, or sets (shield breaker) and other things.... over and over and over.. and it's really starting to *** me off.. keep it up zos and you might start to run out of hardcore players...
