Right, and the classes that are forced into being pseudo-melee should benefit from it, which is why shock clench knockdown was so essential. Sorcs had way too much advantage when slotting flame reach, and a staff type that provides higher burst potential shouldn't have the only cc access to staves.

No I'm not joking. I've mained a magsorc for nearly 5 years, and Streak was my primary at will stun for most of my PvP time. Frag stun was nice, but it was far from mandatory. Streak is a good mobility skill as well, so I aways had it on my build anyway. And this patch also includes a reduction in the repeated streak cost, which makes Streak even more viable now.
Most 1v1 or 1vX fights turn into a melee brawl very quickly once LoS comes into play, and for years I would use streak to land an unblocked meteor+curse+fury+etc combo and it would generally crush the crap out of people. And this was during the time when streak was blockable. I would pull stamblades out of dodge roll or cloak constantly and it would often pressure them enough to either kill them outright or put them into resource draining mode to recover, which gives me the advantage.
And now you are telling me I can knock people out of block with streak as well? One skill that stuns through block, dodge, cloak, deals a little extra damage, goes off with little to no warning, and repositions my character? Yeah, that's really strong. If you can't see that, then that's not my problem.

Know what else is strong? Dawnbreaker, rending slashes, carve, frags, power of the light, leap, fossilize. Something has to kill you, and completely removing the ONLY long range stun that wasnt tied to an ult for many classes is dumb.
But fine, ill even play devils advocate and say that reach was OP and needed to be nerfed. Hence this post, give a stun back to frags. Its not spammable.

I agree that they shouldn't be losing their stuns, but I 100% disagree that only flame staff, which is the burstier of the staves anyways, should be the only destruction staff option for a CC.
Magicka Warden and Magicka Necro rely pretty heavily on shock staff to boost their damage, since, you know, their ST is garbage for the most part. And to be told your only option is to go to a flame staff is nonsense.
