Completely not relevant to the topic but it just caught my eye that OP (who has been playing for 3 months) has a beta account name. Neither interesting nor relevant, and not really worth posting - but I was bored!.

If tank was wrong and your dps is good enough, then I may advice to complete Veteran Maelstrom Arena and use Stormproof title from there - it's like a flag for low-CPs to show that they are good players.
And yeah we all on this forum carried countless amount of random newbies through various content, don't even start to trash everyone.

I don't think I can roll my eyes at this statement any harder. Such nonsense. Vet2 dungeon. lol Oh no not a vet2 better get a group of 810 cause its vet2 so scary. not a single non-DLC vet dungeon needs 20-25k DPS.That tank didn't "save" anyones time. Heres some advice don't make stupid snap judgments before you even start the dungeon. Or think some dumb title proves anything. I have cleared vet2's with CP 160's that were excellent players. He even said he got a replacement had no wipes.
You are the exact problem with this community the ones that sees a CP lvl and makes stupid judgments based on that. I have seen tons of CP 810's that have no idea what they are doing.

I just told the facts. This is pledge day, tank needed 2 keys. If they are usual "we have monster set" below CP300 dps, no way they will complete it in HM, without kicking one of them. Also you don't know the full truth, maybe tank left after first pulls when they were trying to kill vet2 mobs for a minute...
And as I said I carried ton of newbies with low dps when I know there is no hard dps checks. CoH 2 has such checks.
Here is a screenshot for you from vCoA2 where I was killing last 500k HP of enraged Skoria on sh**ty sorc tank with 1300 weapon damage for 5+ minutes, falling below 50% HP each several seconds, just to carry my noobs (there was below CP200 healer and dps and one dps was okay, but obviously he didn't survive enraging since healer was too low CP):

lol facts? yeah okay. every post you make is an eye roll. I have completed tons of vet2 hm's with people well under cp300. but keep living in your delusions that cp lvl is end all be all. yawn same elitist nonsense.

Blah-blah-blah, in guild we completed ton of vet DLC with our below CP300 newbies while farming gear for them like Jorvulds jewelry etc, this means nothing. As well as craglorn HM's with our below CP300 guys... And as I said we don't know full truth, maybe tank waited for first pulls. And all thisis obvious to any "veteran" player, so I don't know why you are enraging at me. If newbies wants to avoid such situations, they may simply wear Stormproof/FC...

more elitist nonsense from you as usual. I have done vet hm's with people under 300 that were pug groups. you act like a players own competence and skill don't exist its just all CP lvl. If the tank was so right as you say then they wouldn't have got a replacement and had no wipes. It was just a snap judgment by a tank on seeing a CP lvl. simple as that.
and I am not "enraging" at you just because I am calling you out on thinking CP lvl means everything and disagreeing with you.
