Yeah, there are a lot of nice markings on the low end, and I will probably buy that butterfly. I got it from the crate on the PTS and really liked it.

I will probably try the four crate package. I'm trying to save up for a banker for my house, so won't go all out.
But, I have no issues with anyone going for it, this crate season has a lot of cool stuff.

Hey If you enjoy the game then just have fun I know my self I have spent a little over $5000 over the last 5 years of this game and just spent $250 today because I enjoy the game even with everything wrong with it I still play it so why be upset with people who spend there own money it's not like it's your money

Thankfully, all the apex and legendary rewards are not inspiring, so I'm not being tempted to "grind" them and there are couple of nice tattoos and emotes, they are cheap to buy from previously received gems.

Tbh, even in crates ZOS is not so great now... I mean compare baandari/dragon to scalecaller/argonians crates. Latter was a bomb, new crates are just a mix of so-so mounts and old goodies removed from store with only some minor cosmetics looking good.

I'm pretty excited for these crates, can't lie. Glass and Ra Gada are both unfinished on my main so it'd be nice to get a full book of that. Also the factotum, BONE DRAGON PET FINALLY, khamira's outfit looks amazing, on top of heaps of other stuff too.

I refuse to spend money on crates out of principle, but I did use up almost all of my gems.

I got the Bright Moons memento, the Esraj and the Desert Sand emotes. And if I can get just 2 more gems I will get Whispering Claw emote too. I'm addicted to the khajiit

do you ever go out to eat? by takeout food not for basic sustenance, but as a treat? or better yet, ever go to a movie theater? its the same idea. none of those things last, they are temporary pleasures, but they are fun while you are enjoying them.

don't get me wrong - performance IS an issue that needs to be fixed. but for a lot of people enjoying the shinies, the most glaring issues with performance, don't really affect them as much. at least when enjoying aforementioned shinies.

I have bought 30 crown crates like clockwork for each season until the last one. I skipped that one, and am probably going to skip this one. Don't really like the new mounts, and know I wont get one of the crown exclusive ones (which should be illegal anyways).

I really like a lot of things in these crates... A lot of things to keep the game interesting and give your character a face lift for a bit.

Only things I don’t like in this crate are the mounts when fully upgraded, the baskets attached to them just ruins the entire look for me (but easy to switch off with the options menu I think) - oh and that pretty much all the furnishing items are in the 100 gem area no less blingy pieces at the 40 gem area, and surprised the loot pile is 100 gems, I thought it would have been 40, I wanted a ton of them for decorating a treasure room, looks like I’ll only get a handful and continue trying to earn the black market mogul achievement (roughly half way) to get the less fantastic looking piles...

otherwise no real issues with this season, looks better than the previous couple of seasons, the pets, skins, costumes and less expensive mounts are all good looking items

I'd imagine it's due to other people not experiencing the same level of issues as people who are? For example, if it's a performance issue with cyro, that doesn't affect tons of players who simply don't participate or care about cyro pvp. I know I don't ever since the faction lock, it can crumble for all I care.

Lots of casual players with disposable income aren't bothered by the issues that are driving players to boycott spending any money but still play the game. Yes, believe it or not there are some players who care more about how their character looks than how great their combat performance is.

Perfect timing too. ESO plus renewed so I bought a bundle and then some. Scored a dwarven baandari spider mount, the indigo senche panther, a couple nice pets, hats, body markings, and then bought the new emotes (LOVE the esraj!) and the white odd-eyed cat and senchal pet that matched the mount that came out months ago. Got everything I wanted and then some. No more crates for this khajiit.

This is the first crate season I didn't have to spend money on - not because I didn't like what's in the crates, but my batch of Dragonscale boxes contained a resplendent sweetroll, so I could buy most of the stuff I wanted (a mount, a few pets and bling)

In my opinion, it's the absolute worst Apex effect we've ever had so far :'( I know I've said it already about Hollowjack and Dragonscale Apexes... but this time, it's much worse.

It has no summoning animation. It has no special effect at all, except for glowing compass in the rider's hand. When it roars, there is no additional effect at all - the rider just raises the compass in the air

And it has the voice of ordinary lion mount (well, at least it's loud, unlike Indigo senche who uses voice of ordinary senche).

I like fiery roar effect and armor... Well, that's really it

It has summoning animation, it leaves paw-prints. It has decent effect during the roar.
But it doesn't emit any light, even though after reading it's description, I expected this creature to light the darkest night :'(
It doesn't leave any special trail or gain any special long-lasting aura after the roar - just fiery explosion.
It has, again, the voice of ordinary lion.
And it costs 600 gems - too high price for another example of not excellent quality (additionally to all said above, the texture on this senche's body is not great, and it has some gray areas on rear legs and under the tail)

I have to admit, it looks just right in the lava

I could be wrong, but I think they are saying everything has an expiration date, regardless if it is a virtual item or a physical one. So yes, believe it or not there are tons of people who place a value on cosmetics that they will someday never have access to again. We are concerned with enjoying the content today, not what will happen to that content most likely years down the road.

Not that hard to understand.
Edit- the game doesn't run like trash for everyone, keep that in mind when criticizing why someone else does something you don't understand.

I had a stockpile of crowns between my two accounts, and since I am planning on altering how I finance the game pretty soon, I bought 45 crates for my main account. Zero Apex mounts. But I wasn't terribly interested in them really. Otherwise I got a lot of what I wanted and bought a few things with gems like the Indigo kitty.

I got that white kitty pet like 15 times. And some masks I already had a bunch of times too. That white kitty though was almost nix hound pet level repeated for me.
