That statement doesnt make sense at all.
If you have a guild dedicated to doing normal trials you should reconsider your guild slots, sorry to say, but it is what it is.
And do you seriously think a pug could clear any trial beyond the craglorn ones vet?
I think it would be fun to see a lfr system implemented for normal trials as you can do them without coordination, anything beyond that youll still need a group of friends or a guild.World of Warcraft LFR. It is a strong enough argument alone.
The thing is zone chat spam in craglorn is the equivalent of WoWs' LFR, difficulty wise, normal trials are even easier than LFR IMO, so might as well implement a system to reduce zone chat spam.
But we know how well queue systems and ZOS go together.
How dare people use the zone chat in an mmorpg!
[Edit]: Also, please be my quest. Form a random group and go into nMoL. Let me see you PuG the twins. Now implement LfR and wait for zos to design a similarly challenging trial with people crying in the forums over "hard" content.
Normal could work imo, but I'd miss standing in Belkarth spamming zone chat "DPS LF ….".
@Odovacar
Normal HoF would be a train wreck more than not. Normal MoL will be a mess for many GF groups. I have cleared it many times in HM but have seen groups hit lunar on normal and that is pretty bad. Even in normal HRC a great many are challenged with the top boss and Craglorn trials are the easiest in the game except for something like AS+0
That is not even getting into the issues of the egos of those who think they know it all but don't. Think about all those dungeon GF where one person is complaining about the rest of the group, that they failed because of everyone else. Not them.
It would be a comedy of errors over and over and I would probably join the GF for it so I could post video of it. Comedy hour.

Normal should be easy enough, but in HoF or Cloudrest things might get tricky if no one knows the mechanics. Anyway, I think that nTrial finder could work.
Veteran, though? There's no chance unless it's a Craglorn trial and everyone is decently geared and knows the tactics. Even then, I'm sure that there will be clueless people or trolls who would break statues or orbs.UGotBenched wrote: »Unfortunately, I don’t always have the time to wait around trying to form groups in zone or I can’t meet the guilds usual schedule due to real life.
That's understandable, but surely you don't have time to be stuck in vmol for hours on end?
Because this is what you would get.
Edit: I think there is something that could work to make trial grouping easier: custom lobby tool. So that you'd be able to create a lobby, state requirements/roles and wait for people. This way you wont have to spam zone chat at least.

@idk valid points as always, yes.
I think any random GF presents its challenges. Like you said, too many would be chiefs leading the group in opposite directions then blaming everyone before the group disbands after repeated wipes (YT worthy YES, HAHA). Unfortunately the same scenarios would likely happen more times than not but I'm positive not 100% of the time. This is just the dark side we are exposed to in MMORPG's.
Although a " normal trial finder" could help others learn some basics. The jump from normal and vet is rather large, yes, but you got to start somewhere right? Also, many trial novices would have a faster go at farming some gear making them a little more viable once they move towards more challenging vet clear attempts.
If anything I could see many players meeting through this random and possibly creating their own progression groups. So many users struggle with connecting with others making them miss out on some of the best group content in the game. Sometimes just having an outlet to other players who share a common goal is confidence boosting and makes you want to strive for more.
As always its best to setup your runs with your guild mates but sometimes (me included) you just want to run something quick when your buddies are busy or offline. Even today the "DPS LF normal or vet HRC" usually ends up being a complete S*** show, but always entertaining, and oh, maybe I can add another AY dagger to my collection if I'm lucky, lol.
