Moon Gate sound

I think this has been covered before, but I'll repeat it:
Please, PLEASE give us an option to switch off the grinding millstone sound. The gate is a highlight for housing, but the constant sound is annoying as hell.

The temporary solution is Essential Housing Tools, particularly one of the FX called "sphere of silence" (there should be a few types of these), Just place near the gate and adjust the size to your liking.

I appreciate your suggestion for a work around, but to be honest, I don't want to use essential housing tools, because it kind of breaks the limits and boundaries of the game and I want to my houses to be "vanilla". Nothing against it, it's an amazing add on, just not my cup of tea.

Yes i requested this a while ago, we don't have Housing FX etc on Console, and the damn thing is far too loud! it can be heard everywhere.

I had some places in my house that the moon gate would work perfectly... and then I turned on the volume and immediately disregarded the idea

Same here, i have banished it to storage as its too damn loud

In a way you are right here, but on the other hand, that's the idea behind all addons. To do what the vanilla game doesn't.
I understand your point, though I'm one of these, who would rather use an fx to mute the thing, than to go crazy/compromise my design.

I think that ZOS should give everybody (I look at you console users) a chance to mute at least the most noisy furniture.

The sound seems to be coming through louder than intended. We're currently planning to adjust this in a future update.

*smacks own head* I don't know why I didn't think of this for the Singing Mural that never stops. It looks fantastic in my Ruins but after 20 minutes, the sound makes my ears bleed. (Not literally) Thank you.

I don't know why we got so blessed as to have SarahHecker, but I suspect PVP & EU Server would kill to have an equally responsive and communicative Zos person. Neither of which are relevant to my interests, but I know they are miserable and feel for them.
