Lead Gameplay Designer on the job for about eight months before looking to get better visibility into the console experience

Should've been a red flag right there

My neck is getting sore from shaking back and forth at the people thinking this is a new post. It's not new, it's just another in a series of things that were going to result in changes that never did. It's one of the Posts of Hope long past.

I think half the fun in the last dozen or so posts is that everyone does know it's a necro thread, and given the content of the OP it makes the joke that much funnier.

Unplayable atm. I've had to leave dungeons because I can't take it. This is so completely and utterly unacceptable. I've been playing for years and I've never seen it this bad. I am beginning to truly hate this game because of the absurd fps issue (among other things). It is, as of now, a chore to play this game and I am quite sad about it. Please fix this mess somehow, someway.

    Hey everyone!

To be clear, my role here is less about making specific changes or improvements to the product and more about helping our teams improve how we work and communicate, both with each other and with you - the players. That being said, I'd be lying if I said there aren't specific aspects of the game I'd like to improve.

My intent is to start posting here on the forums more regularly and, in time, provide more insight into how we think about Gameplay design. My days are already pretty busy (it turns out shipping an update every 3 months leads to a pretty aggressive development schedule!) but I will engage when I can. I'm also certain Gina will find opportunities to poke me for a response.

So far, you have been radio-silent since your initial post and August 2018 introduction, almost a year ago now.
@ZOS_RobGarrett you stated that your intent was to post more regularly on the forums; however, your most-recent post, and your only post this entire year, was on January 4th, well over 6 months ago.

Maybe it is time for some communication now, or ever? Has workflow & communication between ZOS development teams changed for the better since you entered your Lead Gameplay Designer role; if so, how? What gameplay changes have you initiated or helped to initiate become positive, successful changes thus far? Do you have any update for the players whatsoever going forward on anything ESO-related at all? Do you even work for ZOS anymore? Hellooooo!

The Ebonheart Pact: The Dark-Mage (Former Emperor), The Undying Nightshade, The Moonlit-Knight, The Killionaire (Former Emperor), Swims-Among-Slaughterfish (Former Emperor), The Undead Mage, and The Dark-Warlock. The Aldmeri Dominion: The Dawn-Bringer (Former Empress), The Ironwood Kid (Former Emperor), and The Storm-Sword. The Daggerfall Covenant: The Storm-Shield (Former Empress), The Savage-Beast, and The Burning-Crusader CP: 1,999.

Hey here's a post about communication from ZOS. Everyone who says ZOS doesn't communicate and is not transparent can kick rocks.

PROOF! ZOS is vindicated. no hiding. Fully transparent.
Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

Is he even still employed at ZOS? His lack of communication certainly follows the ZOS model; but it is difficult to distinguish between current employee and former employee based solely on the volume (or lack thereof) of communication from the person.

Let me just list amount of PVE things sacrificed during last year for something that is unplayable in peak hours (i.e. PVP):
    - big shields
    - dodge
    - long major expedition
    - amazing enchants
    - wings
    - mobs snare/immobilization immunity (NEW!)
    - argonians and ranged bosmers
    - snipe, flare and wreckling

Gonna get straight to it. When the *** are you guys going to improve server performance? It’s so pathetic right now. Especially since you said you switched from PC to console... lmfao was that your choice? Or did ZOS suggest that’s where you start?

This thread is now half-serious, while the other half is still joking about this thread being necro'd from last year.
