While I can't say I know Rob particularly well, my impression from when I met him is, he's on the level. He's serious about the welbeing of the game. And his participation in this thread bares that out. It may not be the panacea to all your ills, but he is serious about working on it.

I got the same feeling when I spoke with him at an event. I felt like I was having a conversation with someone who cared and wanted to talk about the game, not just a stiff marketing reply to my questions.

What's happening in this thread currently is actually pretty sad to see.

From me at least it was intended as some good natured teasing (on the previous page). That said, communication was promised and at least on the forums I haven't seen anything [from him] since. It seems to be one of the things the community needs and lacks. Personally I don't care anymore. I play when it works and I have time. If neither of those coincide, I don't :shrug:
