So you accept that this company does nothing to improve performance just because you played another bad game?
Low standards indeed dude! We would all benefit from this improvements, don't set your expectations so low...this only gives ZoS more incentive to pretend all is good.
I have accepted that in life, things could always be worse....waaaay worse. And to dwell on the things you cannot control only wastes your time, which is a resource that cannot be made, bought, or even found. We would all benefit from driving Porsche Ceyenne's, but that doesn't mean your honda civic is bad, some people have to take the bus to work.
PVPing in Cyrodiil with 200+ ping, is still a waay better experience overall than PVP in Anchorhead back in the day, with 300+ ping, on 56k, at below 30fps. The reality is that most ESO players have over 100+ ping, so we are all on the same playing field as far as actual effectiveness in combat.
If everyone was at 40ms latency, but you were at 200+, then I would understand your frustration as you would be the only one at a hindrance. But we're all being hindered in a similar fashion.
tl;dr: Don't complain, know your place, don't expect anything from anyone (even if you've paid for it), don't get above your station and as long as everyone is suffering equally, it's all good?
Yeah, thanks for that, very helpful... ><
Wait....where in the TOS does it state that you are paying for low latency, or even a latency lower than 100ms? Screenshot it and link it here.

No, not "Wait...".
I said nothing about us, directly, paying for a lack of latency.
Or, rather, I didn't suggest that you were saying that, seeing as I was doing a tl;dr of your defeatist attitude.
Although, I think it's fair to say that most new player's enthusiam for pouring money into the game would be somewhat dampened if they realised there was little, to no, interest in fixing lag, or bugs.
When people pay for fripperies in a game, they tend to assume that, by doing so, they will also be contributing to the upkeep of a properly functioning game to use them in.
Otherwise, what would be the point?
Stop attempting to straw man.

It took me 2 years to achieve flawless conqueror (greatest achievement in my gaming history, the process behind this was incredible!) on my stam DK and pass 40k dps (which became an obsession in itself! I have spent so much time reading through your posts and insight behind the game mechanics). Not to mention to max out my crafting (2,5 years off and on to get all traits)! I simple LOVE the interesting voiced over quests, the way the classes are designed(freedom to create all sorts of specs) and the BEAUTIFUL world. I came from wow and this game was an improvement in every single way imaginable (as far as PvE goes, which was all i ever did).
After being "forced" to PVP in ESO for transmute crystals and PvE skills (I promised myself never to step into BG/CYRO after i got my caltrops on my main lol ) something unpredictable happened.... I fell in love with concept of PVP. The last 6 months ive been trying out different classes and builds and doing Cyrodil and Battlegrounds.Ive been watching countless vids of specs and setups and having a blast! However - I can sadly not longer ignore the vast technical issues of this game. The lag in Cyrodil (combined with low dps due to having a good computer) and the broken Battlegrounds que system being my biggest issues. The sad part is, it doesn't look like ZOS is planning to do anything what so ever about this, they havent even acknowledged many of these issues! I was willing to look past the low FPS (even with a 3000$ dollar rig ) and the insanly long loading screens.. But the lag in Cyrodil, and the broken LFG/Que system is just not acceptable. Half my matches the group never gets enough players to even begin, and i get deserter after leaving.
Couple of days ago i decided to try out PVP in WOW, something i never really got into the 10 years i played it. The experience was by FAR superior to eso in every single way. The Arena and Battleground que system works smooth. There is no lag, what so ever - and it doesnt hurt that the game itself runs with high dps on max settings, and loadingscreens are 1/10 of the times of ESOs - without even exaggerating!
I wasnt planning of returning to WOW at ALL. I mean, i have 4300 hours ingame and untill recently i had a new 2 year plan in ESO on things i wanted to achieve. However, since i tend to do nothing but PVP anymore - Wow preformance simply shines compared to eso! I would NEVER in my life imagine that techincal issues would make me lose PASSION for ESO, im actually sad as hell while writing this right now. If all i did was PVE i would have stayed in eso no doubt, but with my newly discovered enthusiasm for PVP - the technical state of Elder Scrolls Online is just a horrible mess and ZOS should be ashamed of themselves!
I just wanted to thank all of you guys for being with me on this journey and helping me along the way. These forums were a blast to read over the few years, ive learned so much and you guys are simply my type of crowd! I wanted to write this down cause im a passionate guy and it felt right sharing my thoughts with you.
Edit: Come to think of it, players like myself are probably main reason why this isn't getting fixed and deemed as acceptable. Ive spent large amounts of money of the Crownstore. I couldn't help it, i got so cought up in all the cool and convenient stuff in there. This convenience came with a price it turns out.

Can you go from the southern most tip of the map to the northern most part without a load screen in eso? no
In WOW you can.
My latency is eso is always 140ms +
Wow my latency is 30-50ms on a bad day
That ping! Give it to me in ESo! If only WoW had less cartoony and more high definition graphics I would swap.

Graphics are the least of WoW's problems. Even with ESO's current technical issues, I could never go back to wow. Blizzard is broken and they just don't care anymore.

Agree that quit threads are against the ToS and this one will be locked. But as long as it's not, please enlighten me - what exactly is the point of your post? Are you more interested in being a troll than in the reasons why fellow players are leaving the game? Do you think those reasons are invalid? If so, why?
Who am I kidding, most people are perfectly happy dropping money into this game as long as they can do *their* thing, never mind if others are struggling.
I had no idea this was against the rules. Is it because of the title of this thread?
They have a policy of closing quitting threads, period, as per the forum rules:Goodbye/Quitting Threads: We understand that sometimes people will leave the ESO community, and want to post a “goodbye” or “quitting” thread. Generally, we have found that “goodbye” and “quitting” threads have a tendency to go downhill fast. It is our policy to read the feedback in “goodbye” and “quitting” threads and close them, regardless of whether they are constructive or not.
I don't think it's a good policy, but their house, their rules. Anyway, having recently cancelled my own sub (though I still have some ESO+ time to use up), I sympathise with you. Shame that this game is so sorely mismanaged IMO, it has such great points, ruined by far too many issues that go ignored...

Just curious because I have never invested much time in ESO PVP but has the performance in Cyrodiil *ever* been good or even passably acceptable? I have played this game since early beta and not once have I ever experienced or heard anyone say the performance was good in PvP. There were always hopes and dreams and promises but they never seem to pan out.
