Concerning the RPG part of MMORPG, what if the Writers provided a selection of Romanceable NPCs with new lines of Dialogue and even questlines that progress the relationship. A new game mechanic that allows the vestige to bond with an NPC, complete a personal story questline, and unlock special options such as making them a version of the Brotherhood Bequeather, or a special "Assistant" you can place in your house.
We already have lines of dialogue where the Vestige flirts, heavily, with Naryu. Thats a start.

When they said the game was mature, they should have kept it that way and made the parents account for their children playing it. And if I had to pick someone, it would be that rogue Jakarn. Ah yes, Steve Blum. Love that man, love that voice.

Just musing too: has anyone read YA fiction recently? We've got global scale catastrophes, lots of death and dismemberment, twisted and warped notions of consent between "love interests," and lots of glorious suicide "victories." ESO's pretty tame compared to the kid's section at Barnes & Noble lately
'Tis a slippery slope. First comes the romance options, then people ask for nude patch.
I'd say best will be that one can marry their alts this way everyone will have their unique and make them place able at house so when a player visits his/her house he'll get lover bonus like in skyrim maybe 10% boost to xp for 10 mins something like that just like Ayleid Wells.
This would be great, especially if we could make it involve cross-server alts. Perhaps even an alt companion system!
I'd also like it to be similar to a friends-romance-engaged-married progression, where you get to build your characters, personality-wise, and gain affinity/influence/affection etc based on actions performed ingame, be they in general or in dialogue with NPCs.

You say it like these themes are new to fiction meant for young adults but theyre literally hundreds of years old. Young people really can handle much more than people give them credit for.

Most other games have stuff like that; I can't remember about WoW and RIFT (only other MMOs I've played) but nearly every single player game has gone there.
If only mods were allowed.

Yeah, I'm 26 years into marriage myself. I couldn't care less if they added it, but I'm not remotely interested in participating...

After all these years still the top most endorsed mods for skyrim are nudity mods......

I have a relationship with Razum Dar. Tho the doesn't know about it yet. Other day he offered me a quest. Things are getting preety serious between us.
I was pretty amused the first time I noticed companions sending me in-game love emails in SWTOR. I think the companion system in general would be neat in ESO, including the combat aspect. It would definitely help for making housing feel more alive.
