Concerning the RPG part of MMORPG, what if the Writers provided a selection of Romanceable NPCs with new lines of Dialogue and even questlines that progress the relationship. A new game mechanic that allows the vestige to bond with an NPC, complete a personal story questline, and unlock special options such as making them a version of the Brotherhood Bequeather, or a special "Assistant" you can place in your house.
We already have lines of dialogue where the Vestige flirts, heavily, with Naryu. Thats a start.
'Tis a slippery slope. First comes the romance options, then people ask for nude patch.

When they said the game was mature, they should have kept it that way and made the parents account for their children playing it. And if I had to pick someone, it would be that rogue Jakarn. Ah yes, Steve Blum. Love that man, love that voice.
Why did Darien leave that lovely note for my character if he wasn't romantic interest?

Naryu Virian:
Pro: Hot sexy assassin gir, most likely pretty naughty in the bedroom. (You might have to be into rough stuff with her)
Cons: You might end up with a knife in your back if you talk to a female questgiver too long.
Darien:
Pro: Loyal guy who will most likely treat you like a godess and fulfill your every wish
Con: Most likely a pretty boring lover behind all this hyper confident flirting.
Razum-Dar:
Pros: Super fluffy, knows all the best event locations and can get you in every club.
Con: Sharp claws and spiky tongue will leave you looking like a scratchtoy after a night of passion. Cat hairs everywhere.
Stibbons:
Pros: Loyal, will do all the housework and love it, always at your side.
Cons: Wont shut up about his ex, constantly kidnaped by horny Deadra.
We already have one alliance war to fight, and you want to throw waifu wars into the mix as well?

Oh, I've seen all the Westworlds and Futureworlds, movies, old and new series alike (it's one of my favorite franchises), and I still would love to have Mass Effect/Dragon Age/SWTOR-like romances in ESO. None of those felt forced to me, and I didn't feel I abused those NPCs, as scripted they may have been.Have none of you seen West World!?

Add probably not being the only lover to Raz (other players not included). He probably is a many ladies (and/or dudes?) guy.
I don't see this as a positive approach in an MMO - people are getting more and more incapable to communicate with each other in a normal way and establish working relationships successfully and the game should support this increasing disability and make it even worse?- In a single-player game this can be fun - like in Fallout 4 Cait, Piper, Curie, Nick and so on are quite fleshed out companions, which have some story elements to add to the rest of the game and they add a moral compass, which lets them approve or disapprove of your behavior - this has been fun to play in Fallout 4 - but in an MMO?- Really?
