No class change token, and they don't intend on it either.
Pretty disappointed with this, I've already got 9 toon, and dont have any intention of making another in the foreseeable future.
I have a magden that used to be good but is now nerfed into nothing more than a writ jockey.
Necro seems pretty interesting from what I've heard but I don't intend on making a new toon for it so I won't be pre-ordering, I'll get the chapter later when it is on special for the zone content.

I play MMO for like 20y and more. And i never ever seen game with clss change option. And there is a good reason behind that.
I dont see why EsO should be the 1st one.
And cmoon. 1-50 is like 1 day play.
Today generation is so spoiled.

If we are going to get in to a game playing pissing contest, I've played RPGs for 30 years and I've never played one like ESO. Some times it is good to break the mold. Some old school pen and paper RPGs had the ability to retrain or multi class so there is no reason a digital one can't either. Could just as easily say the older generation is so close minded but I don't want to make that generalisation.

So if they made a class change token you'd just buy and be done with it right? Instead they want you to pay for freaking everything. They are selling skyshards zone by zone! They'll prolly sell undaunted or sth next, most likely skill by skill to milk the sh!t out of it. And so on. Until they make you pay at least 10 times of what a class change token would sell for.
That's entirely lame and i legit hate ZOS' monetization policies, especially after seeing what they have done to PC EU servers now. I've been playing this game since start (some would say excessively even) and have been encouraging people to support the game until this very year. Now i just tell everyone to stop subbing tbh. Good game, bad company.

Don't freak out... just thinking out loud... What if they offered these when you started a new character? You MUST already have the achievements unlocked on a different character.
* Copy SkyShard Achievement to Any Character (Already Coming)
* Max Mount Package - Speed/Stamina/Capacity One Time Deep Discount *Only if you already have 1 mount maxed out
* Copy WayShrine Achievement to Any Character
* Copy all Major Faction Achievements (Mage/Fighter/Psijics)
I know everyone hates Crown Store items but restricting these purchases to Already Achieved Achievements would get rid of any P2W issues. Offering 2 of the 4 options with gold options would open them up to more people or even allowing the player to pick ANY 2 of the 4 to use gold as an option would help many players while still allowing some Crown Store items to offset the cost of creating these on the store.
What is the minimum YOU would need to create a new character and it not feel like a giant grind in front of you? I listed the "time sinks" that I see no need to re-do over and over.

Yep, this thread reeks of entitlement ...

That doesn’t solve the 30k+ achievement points, crafting motifs, and skins issue. Leveling up has never been the issue. It’s the gargantuan amount of other stuff for us folks who have and play a “main” character.

Skins and dyes are already account wide. Achievement points are basically meaningless.

Achievement points may be meaningless to you, but for thousands of others, they’re a major source of fun and a primary goal. And by Skins, I also meant the associated titles/achievements.

Okay, let me rephrase: Achievement points do not tie into any meaningful system. They're only there for the bragging rights.
Motifs don't transfer, so, maybe, don't delete your old character.
Outfit unlocks, skins, and dyes do. Also, your champion points are account wide. So, this is already an alt-friendly system, even if it doesn't look like it at first glance.

I hear ya and agree. However, I would characterize the achievement hunting as more for completionists rather than bragging rights (though I guess some brag about it).
End of the day, my hope is that ZOS changes their stance and gives all of us achievement hounds a chance to experience other play styles on our beloved main characters.
I totally get that other players couldn’t care less about collecting achievements. That’s great for them! I, and many others, would just like a choice.

My concern with this is players running around with cap level characters that dont know how to play that class but that is a minor issue afcourse but it did happen in wow with the free cap level character slot. Then players started complaining about all the high level players in vet raids and dungeons that couldn't play their toons.
Be carefull what you wish for.
It doesn't take that long to get to 50. I recdntly levelled 4 alts to 50. Not all characters need both fightets and mages guild rep up.fighters for stamina builds and mages for magicka.
Running dolmens for fighters guild rep also levels you up fast and gets you jewelry to wear or decon
Picking up books and skyshatds on your way to openong up wayshrines you will need in future is not a huge deal.
The undaunted is fun af just do dungeons...no big deal
Leveling is part of the eso experience. I think it also makes your character feel more fleshed out when you work at those things.
However i do believe some achievements need to be account wide.
I know the majority here wont agree with me but this is my honest opinion. Im not saying your opinion is not valid, it obviously is important to you. I just wanted to share mine.
