Did you use a pet? One of Mender or Arcanist? Having a pet summoned is 200 mag and stam recovery which also gets boosted by Minor Endurance/Intellect and Continuous Attack. Also sounds like you're using Beckoning Armor over Summoners Armor and the latter saves a LOT of Magicka on Blastbones and Arcanist/Mender summons.
Finally, I don't know why all the streamers are using Hexproof exclusively, but Expunge and Modify is literally your friend. You get basically 1k magicka and stamina every time you use it. Using once every 10 seconds is the equivalent of another 200 mag and stam regen.
I'm Imperial and I have no sustain problems running Necropotence and Lich backbar.

Yeah. I use the Mender version. But no, I was using Beckoning Armor. The problem is- if I use Summoner's Armor- then I don't have access to a gapcloser whatsoever. And I definitely know what you mean by Expunge and Modify. I've been running that.
I'd much rather bring a tank AF group breaker Stam necro over a mag necro to a BG
Now I want to run mag necro because I think it sounds cool AF; but not because it's the superior choice

Why do you want to gap close?
Mag Necro is a ranged magicka build. Your blastbones do more damage the further away you are from your target.
Are you running some bizarre build with Scythe incorporated or are you trying to bash people with Goliath like a S&B stam build?
Unfortunately, at the moment ZOS thinks there are tons of places people are using tethers and corpse targeting takes some time to get used to, but once you do it feels a lot more controlled,

@Maulkin
On most of my builds- I incorporate melee on one bar and ranged on the other. (I'm used to running mDK) I get bored of ranged- so I use light armor with two protective rings so I can get in on the action.
But, hell no about that Bash Goliath build. That's a one-trick pony build that's very, very ineffective against people who know how to react to it.
well, no changes again?

They will be in the "data collecting phase" right now where they are trying to work out if something is not right with the class firstly. They won't just believe testimonies in here, they'll write it off as a small sample based on limited experience. After they take their time with data collecting, they will give it a go at deducing what is not right, before finally proceeding with possible solutions & changes.
This by the way is also known as the denial phase. Because you don't need to collect a million telemetry data points and a 2000-race sample from various different drivers to tell you that a Fiat Panda is not exactly a Porsche 911... but you know, you go through the motions anyway when you don't want to admit you effed up straight away.
There's a long wait in store for those of us who are hoping to be able play Mag Necro in PvP at a high level without being cannon fodder. If we're lucky it'll be with the next update. If...

Would just love to play magcro at a high level in anything right now. PvE we are at the bottom with magdens as well (at least magdens are pretty good in pvp). And knowing how zos handled wardens, i really don't expect anything to be done. Magcro is probably going to just remain bad sadly. As fun as it is outside of blast bones and tether skills, i probably wont stick with it unless there are some big improvements.
I don't know about everyone else but my Magicka Necro High Elf in PvE is holding its own. It's handled solo and group play with no problems at all. I will say this however the CP setup for a Mag Necro for PvE is complletely different than the setup for PvP. So if you plan to play in both environments I would suggest rolling two Necromancers one for PvE and one for PvP unless you want to spend 3k changing CP allowcations every time you want to switch environments.
For PvP I do not have an opinion since I have not played a Mag Necro there yet. But if what I have read is true then ZOS needs to make some changes to the class.
They could at least fix the bugs. I just had a BG where my Intensive Mender floated around on top of me while I wasn't moving, and healed me exactly 0 times over the full 8 second duration. But hey, at least it seems to always generate a corpse when it's supposed to, unlike Bone Armor.well, no changes again?

I used the other morph, but hate how "slow" it is. If you're trying to chase someone down, prevent them from LOSing, etc...they're usually out of range/position by the time the second or third ground-circle appears where they used to be. The spell is fairly strong in theory, but it's yet another Necromancer ability that's too finnicky or janky for PvP (would be much better if they'd speed it up, so that it matched Wall of Elements).Waffennacht wrote: »Leave my grasp alone
I like grasp. It's one of the few skills I do like. Empowered grasp is great. Maim, snare and 40% more light attack damage and 40% more damage and healing to your summons.
Despite all the classes warts this skill is great

Casting doesnt automatically give the buff though. You need to stand still (when pets are right next to you) or turn around and face them to actually make it work. If youre running after someone trying to slow them down pets fall behind and doesnt get the buff

I've just come back after 2 weeks...any changes or are we still dealing with Stamcro being clear superior to MagCro?
