I've just come back after 2 weeks...any changes or are we still dealing with Stamcro being clear superior to MagCro?

i actually don't think that's the case. i think magcro is better in most cases, the only thing that really makes stamcro better is Pummeling.

I don't run pummeling on my stamcro and it outperforms my magcro easily lmao. Unless you want to be a ult bot running around in a zerg in cyro or something, magcro is horrible rn.

Just thought I'd mention that I did a little small-group Cyrodiil last night on my Magicka Warden, and managed to 1-shot a Blastbones with Light Attack + Elemental weapon at least once. Burst damage needs counter-play, but come on...

Ult is always scaling with highest stats, so it doesnt matter if stam or mag for ult, only the cp or set bonus for eg damage type maybe come into play.

Aside from the CP issue, you need to have S&B equipped to reduce the cost and increase the damage of the bash. And you need to have a large stam pool so you can bash plenty because the resource cost is stamina. A standard mag build with 15k-18k stam, will run out of stam in a handful of bashes.

That's a lot of sacrifices for a mag build to make to buff an ult only. And you'll still it less than the stam build. This is as much of stamina build-focused ultimate as Corrosive Armor. There's no denying that.

Yea, and the numbers you give are even worse for no-CP...no cost reduction from CP and an even smaller Stamina pool. It's just not a worthwhile morph for Magicka builds.

I agree with all of you that are saying that the magicka necro sucks in pvp.

I created a necro recently to see how it works and when I pvped with it I got a message from one opponent that my damage was nothing and that I was just irritating. I could hardly damage him and there was two others that were trying to kill him but couldn't. I helped them by healing them when I saw that I was doing no good hurting him.

I was using the only healing that we have available that is worth anything for healing others and that is the healing staff heals. Our class heals kind of suck in how much magicka they use and have disadvantages to them. We need bodies for most to work worth a crap.

This is not the only problem with the magicka necro. When I was trying to level the character so that I could go and pvp. I was running around in the wilderness collecting books and skyshards and a mob attacked me and an npc was nearby and all of a sudden I was kill on sight. Look if we are going to have to deal with a disadvantage of our skills being negative to use than they should at least be stronger that classes like the warden class that doesn't have to deal with having the random chance of becoming kill on sight.

I would think that the damage should be increased for the magicka necro.

Basically the class, magicka version, has gotten the short end damage and healing.

Pve for magcro is more predictable, but since pvp is on-demand...it's virtually useless. I've tried it, but with updates it made me look at Warden a lot more and I prefer it. Yes, the multi-heal is nice...when players observe it's happening.
