Just tried to login and create a template char (my only toon on EU is a level 4). After character creation, the Elsweyr template char showed up as level 1 and neither the template nor the existing level 4 can get past character select.0 -

I have had this happen multiple times. Sometimes I stay in for a couple of minutes, sometimes it is immediate.
*** This was happening during the training mission - I had created a new "baby" necro. After multiple crashes, I created a lvl 50 warden. The only crashes with her, so far, have been in housing. I cannot log back into the "baby" necro.Edited by Tegasi on April 29, 2019 11:43PM0 -

I'm having the same issue. Any settings or anything else I try to do before getting booted gets undone. I just started on the PTS and every time I log back in, I'm back to the beginning with nothing saved. FRUSTRATING!3 -

Same here. Was in a house unlocking my skills. Every time I log back in, my skills are reset. Happened three times in a row.0 -
Something is very wrong with the PTS after today's update. Number 1 problem is the game doesn't have any of the stuff from the regular server transfered over. I mean everything is gone. I had to start a new character and have nothing. No DLC or anything I have purchased.
Number 2 and big one is that the game is crashing very seriously frequently. I have been playing for over 2 hours and have not made it out of the Catacombs. I have been exiting the game on purpose to save forward progress.
Number 3 and this has only happened once to me is I lost control of the game. By that I mean the mouse and keyboard did absolutely nothing when I pressed buttons. I logged out and logged in to fix that one.
This is a mess and it is really in an unplayable state. Please try to fix whatever is going on so the players who are experiencing this can continue to play Elswyer as if it goes unfixed we are not going to be able to play it.

Do you play on NA or EU? This week as EU character/account copies. If youre only NA, then there are only templates for you.1 -

The EU characters were copied over today, so if you only have stuff on NA, you're starting fresh. That's expected, not a bug, and the EU players dealt with it the past 2 weeks. My only suggestion is to make a new template character and go from there. Buy dlc in the store for 1 crown each.
No idea on the other 2.0 -
Ok that explains the new character as I am on the NA Server but the other stuff that is going on is a serious problem with the game. I really didn't mind starting a fresh character which is why I played as far as I did but all the logging in and out at random is a pretty big problem making the game unplayable. Hopefully they will figure out what is wrong and get this fixed.0

I managed to make it past the Tutorial because the game saved forward progress for me when I entered the area where you fight the first dragon. I got out of the rest of the tutorial by sheer luck that it didn't logout on me. The game performance is very bad in terms of frame rate I noticed. Anyways I exited the main city and am now standing in the area where players seem to want to just stand around and fight each other rather than play forward with the game. Personal preference there but these issues that have cropped up are very serious and hurting the folks who actually want to test the new stuff but then again I guess even in all this we are testing and finding the stuff that is wrong with the game.0

It may be isolated to the Tutorial. I took a big chance and deleted my first character. Created another and bingo it let me skip the Tutorial and I get some Armor to wear. I am not creating a level 810 character as I am fairly new player to the game and would not know what to do with a character of that high level. So I have a level 3 character to start with and some gear. My frame rate picked back up and I made it all the way to Abnur Tharn without one incident of getting kicked from the game.0

I'd like to jump in on this one also. I've been struggling just to complete the tutorial/introduction mission because it's constantly hard logging me to the character screen and when I log back in the progress I had made isn't being saved.0 -

Ok, tried last night and again just now. I can't get the game to stay open on PTS. I get a little further in the tutorial each time but always get knocked off to the Login. I had been enjoying the PTS time, and am anxious to get back in. Maybe you can go back to what it was a couple of days ago. It was working great then.0
