That game is completely different.
ZOS needs to buff the artifact for solo usage, not only group wise.
Though they shouldn't take inspiration from Battle Royale one shot type of game.
The artifact shouldn't enable near god mode state, but only provide a strong boost.

I don't play Fortnite - but do know it is an Esport that it more balanced and competitive than a lot of the other games today.
But rule of thumb, you are forgetting one thing. That this is still a game and and not an Esport. You cannot win no real money, nor is there tournaments to for real cash in ESO.
You cannot base skill on RNG fighting, and I still say the weapon needs a massive buff. It's really sad to know that players take this so serious that they think it's an Esport. Even esport games have fun like that and make games worth playing. Of course that weapon wasn't in tournament play but it sure did entertain ppl. And that's what it should come down to entertaining and having fun.
But who am I I only been playing ESO for 4 years.
The Weapon is very weak in 1v1 or 1vX scenarios against decent players...
The weapon should give the feeling of awesome power, against players.

They already stated this thing is to basically empower zergsgroups more. So RIP. Wonderful direction they're going. These changes don't make it really that stunning. You're still gonna get rolled with it imo xd

It won't make it very powerful, but it is a good start.
This weapon needs some serious buffs and the ignore from Battle Spirit can help.
I will know more once I test it again.

I tested it again.
I soloed Sejanus outpost and it was easier than last time.
Though the artifact's damage is still very weak against enemy players.
I had 1v1 fight against an enemy player and he just healed himself all the time, until the artifact drained my character life in full.
@ZOS_BrianWheeler Please increase the artifact's damage against enemy players.
The weapon in its current state is very disappointing...
It's weaker than emperor.
It is only good for killing NPCs and make a Keep/Outpost siege faster.
I didnt found it myslelf, someone else got it, but I got it when he died.

Honestly, we do not need volendrung for that... I used a stamina necromancer and got ressources+outpost+keep alone. Necro is really powerfull...ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »
