Here’s the thing: I don’t PvP. Why should I participate in gankville with zero respect during events when I can just eat cake everyday and get two tickets? Oh and I have zero need to go there anymore, thanks pet and skin runeboxes on the guild trader.

These types of threads always appear during events happening in Cyrodiil, Imperial City or battlegrounds. I think majority of pve players don't care or play pvp at all, but many care for the event rewards so during these events they must go to pvp areas in order to get the rewards. Even the quests are pve there could still be some pvp involved also, nothing changes after the event, only these kind of messages won't appear anymore until the next event happening in some pvp area. The amount of alliance points carried matters nothing in Cyrodiil, player won't lose any ap when getting killed, killer gets the same amount of ap no matter how much was carried by the smacked player. You probably mean Tel Var stones carried in Imperial City.

Yeah nah, as an experienced PvPer I completely agree with you. People who are out here attacking PvE questers are just awful. They're not doing it to farm AP since you can make that more easily anywhere else on the map, they're not doing it for the challenge because people who exclusively PvE aren't even running around in impen armor, let alone anything else intelligent, and that basically just leaves "assbutt factor" for motivation. You can't even shame them because they like being social outcasts, it's quite sad.

Even if I try my best to symphatize with you opers comment like this make me wonder what is this fun you talk about. Take pvp out of pvp zone to make it less fun. Maybe it is time you participate in this pvp event as it should be treated.

If you pve'ers block up the Vivec queue (why would you even go to vivec anyway lol) so you can quest, bet your *** you're gonna have some people ganking the towns.

What's funny is during the midyear groups of PvE players were melting PvP only players because they knew their build well, and spammed heals and rezzed quickly. Whats hilarious is that in one of my guilds there are players who only do PvE overland going into Vivec, and getting the quests done without any major issues other than disconnects. Gear up and go rediculously tanky, stick with your group and have oh sh*t heals ready, snare the f*ck out of them and get it done. There is no magic trick or anything. Find out exactly what is killing you, and counter it and don't panic.

I took a PvE only player into Vivec once and was amazed at how adept he was at killing folks. He knew his build. Folks die just like NPcs.

Not everyone kills the pve players. Last time I did an event in towns I seen so many people just letting each other quest. I also had great fun killing the bullies who was ganking the low level players, I got so many thank you whispers and made quite a few new friends.

Of course there will be so many gankers and players wanting the kills, so just go in a larger group if you can

Zos knows exactly what they are doing by forcing pvers into pvp zone to run around questing...

The hope is they actually take to pvp...
