    This shouldn't be in the PTS section, @Stibbons ... since it's not a planned change for the next PTS cycle.

    Yes, if I remmeber correctly, the spear shard had eaither 1 of tge morph us basic skill stun in it. Whenever you cast it, it stuns only one enemy, but it was very effective nonetheless when it comes to catching NBs

    Blazing Spear: Send your spear into the heavens to bring down a shower of divine wrath, dealing [1069 / 1081 / 1093 / 1104] Magic Damage to enemies in the target area and an additional 235 Magic Damage each second. Also stuns one enemy for 2 seconds. While active, an ally can activate the Blessed Shards synergy, restoring 25% Stamina plus an additional 1700 Stamina over 10 seconds.

    that what you talking about? hardly worth anything. and i wouldn't call it an AOE stun, sure you stunned one person in the aoe but it was still only one. looks like they took that away at the start of 2017, i dont think it is coming back, especially with the damage increase to the skill since then,.

    Templar tanks could really use an aoe snare or root on one morph of shards.

    I loved that skill, but it slowed the group due to the fact that the tank couldn't chain adds that had been stunned.

    i think they could rework another skill like unstable core or that huge aoe healing ritual.

    looks like they took that away at the start of 2017, i dont think it is coming back, especially with the damage increase to the skill since then,.

    The damage was to try to compensate for taking the stun. Many players would gladly trade it back.

    It was used by people in solo PvE situations pulling multiple mobs and by people doing PvE. There another fine morph for those who want to use it in group PvE. That one can get things like higher damage and good resource return, the other can have a stun.

    that stun was pretty usefull while dealing with vma.

    If I remember correctly it was a aoe stun then nerfed to single target stun then nerfed to no stun. Templar tanks are hurting badly they lack CC and imo they are the worst tank in the game. They also need a better heal as breath of life/honor of the dead might not even heal the tank where most other classes have a % based heal that at least guarantees the tank gets what they need. (Maybe make honor of the dead morph only a single target heal for yourself and keep breath of life the way it is)

    Do you realize that javeline itself is much less useful than Shards? In the game with 10 barslots no one wants to have abilities with 1 effect, in particular abilities without synergy between class skills (jav kicks target out of sweeeps)

    Are we talking PvP here? Why not just ask for the knockback from Aurora javelin be removed? Or just use the Stam version, that already doesn't have a knockback

    I was being facetious in that post, I am fully aware of the way shards has acted in the past. I have been playing for five freaking years. Again, that was not an AOE stun, as on it stuns targets in the aoe, it only stunned one target at a time. You get that with javelin now. Look. ZOS clearly wanted blazing spear to be the ground based AOE dot of the class, like liquid lightning or winter's revenge or eruption or twisting path. So use javelin and move forward towards your target before sweeping/jabbing, 8 meters is really nothing in this game.

    Because it wasn't reflectible and was going through block perhaps ?

    I would take out on any content my Templar tank over my DK Tank. Only my Sorc Tank, is as reliable at the Templar. (all 3 Khajiit).
    Even if left alone without support during the whole trial, wouldn't care less. Let alone running PUGs in vDLC dungeons or trials. (PUGs)
    The DK Tank is that one who suffers most at the hands of "not so good" groups, regardless the content. Even in normal DLC dungeons.

    Since launch ("early access" March 30, 2014) there have been some four dozen nerphs to Templar. This class has been seriously weakened in the five years since the game launched, to the point that many players have left the game. I would love to see ZOS evaluate the long list of the Templar nerphs and (maybe) reconsider reversing previous changes, including restoring the stun from shards. (While also restoring Breath of Life, Puncturing Sweeps, and Radiant Oppression to their full former glory!) I sometimes wonder . . . if the original designers of ESO loved Templars while the current designers hate this class.

    Please zos .... make one of the morphs to shards an aoe immobilize ... and Give us a health based heal
