Is the Elsweyr PTS invite-only?

Raid team is planning to jump straight into Sunspire this week.

Is that going to be possible or is access limited in some way?

Since both Morrowind and Summerset were invite only, and that they've mentioned a NDA, its most likely going to be invite only. However, if you got into Morrowind or Summerset PTS, I would assume you get into Elsweyr as well (as that was the standard before.) If you didn't have an invite to either of those, it will likely be possible to get one for Elsweyr. I recall those who pre-purchased Summerset got invites, so it might be the same for Elsweyr too. We'll find out soon, though.

From my understanding, anyone who played in the Morrowind or Summerset PTS cycles will automatically be able to enter the Elsweyr zone on PTS.

Those who weren't should still be able to do the base game stuff (Cyro Changes, Class Changes) but not be able to go to Elsweyr. Whether that covers the Sunspire trial or not is anyone's guess.

That is until you get the Elsweyr invite (think it's preorder only but could be wrong there too)

If you had access to teither Summerset or Morrwoind Closed PTS then you'll most likely also have access to Elsweyr, as many pstated already.

Furthermore, if you have preordered Elsweyr, then the chances are als high to get into the closed PTS.

if you dont get access to Elsweyr, then IMO you wont have access to Sunspire, since its in the Chapterzone....I dont expect ZOS to make the Trial open for non Elsweyr testers, since they wont have the NDA on them, like the Elsweyr tester most likely will.

Will they make the new zone open to everyone once the NDA is lifted or is this going to be for the entire PTS?
Because I'm console plebe and it's the first time I'm on PTS and I did it essentially because of the new chapter.

Also, if they're gonna make Elsewyr open to anyone, is here anyone who's organising Sunspire open runs or has a couple of free spots in their run?
I'd like to test it out just to be ready when it hits consoles.

Yes, prior chapter testers and some people with new invites are in today. Other people will be added over time.

And!

No spoilers for the main story. Cannot discuss anything after the opening main story quest. Nada. Not locations, themes, or even quest names!

I were in Morrowind PTS closed beta but not in Summerset one.

Did anybody of you receive an email or something else for Elsweyr PTS Closed Beta? Got nothing until now.

I am the same as you... Was in the Morrowind Closed Beta and Summerset was sort of closed, but didn't have a separate forum area that I remember but did have huge NDA warnings.

Just to clarify -

If you tested on the PTS for previous chapters (Morrowind, Summerset) you'll have access to everything today once we open.
If you've played ESO in the past year, you'll be getting an invite to help test Elsweyr on the PTS (Sunspire is included in this).
Everyone has access to the PTS base game regardless.

@BeeGnu If you're worried about screenshotting something incorrect, don't complete the quest "Rage of Dragons". You'll miss out on testing the main quest, but you also won't be able to accidentally screenshot anything that's under NDA, as the NDA is only active for the quests after "Rage of Dragons".

I was just wondering as last time I was allowed to take and post shots of landscapes, etc. just nothing involving quests after a particular point.

Please remember if you’re participating on the PTS and giving us feedback, Elsweyr’s story content is under a strict NDA beyond the first quest titled “Rage of Dragons”. You’re free to discuss or stream anything else in Elsweyr including the Necromancer, the new Trial, other side quests, or anything in the base game.

That description of "story content" does raise a question, though. One of the things I'm going to try to do is note any Elsweyr eidetic memory books which appear to be bugged. My thinking/hope is that perhaps if they're pointed out before it ticks Live, there will be less chance (if only slightly so) of it being a year or more before they're fixed. To me, it would seem like they're "story content," but does ZOS agree? I assume my best bet would be to /bug any of them and hope it doesn't get completely lost in the pile or disregarded as "It just doesn't matter"?

Logged in to PTS, but it is not letting me access Elsweyr until I pre-purchase the chapter. Not sure if this is intended. or this is happening because I haven't received an invite yet?

I had to load one of my existing characters and let the game update the collections with the Elsweyr chapter before it would let me create a necro.
