My 2 cents from similar thread:

    Well I mostly PvP so:

When you have a lot of Tel Vars and you afraid to lose them, you can use Imperial sigil of retreat (you can buy it for 10k AP in sewers base), you can also use command /stuck (once per hour if I remember well) or simply switch to other campaign if you don't have sigils.

When sieging a keep you encounter heavy resistance on the breach you can use your mount with rapids to get through the breach much faster than on foot thus avoiding a lot of incoming siege damage and spreading chaos in defenders lines.

You can also ride mounts inside outposts (like Sejanus, Nikel, Bleakers etc. but not inside inner outposts of keeps), thus avoiding defenders and oils.

Killing boss in any dung in Cyrodiil gives you 1 hour long bonus increasing APs you earn by 20%.

You can use siege weapons to take down resources guards much faster.

You can repair Camps using siege repair kits.

Quest to kill 40 players is harder to finish in group because it counts only for 1 person in that group, the one who did final blow, while when running solo all you need to do is to deal some damage to player.

You can Whisp to someone when just knowing their character name (without @id). Simply type /w CharacterName and follow it with comma e.g.: /w Mayrael,

    Crafting:
Deconstructing equipment made by other players gives more exp than deconstructing looted stuff and is fastest way to lvlup most crafting skill lines (except of alchemy and provisioning).

    Really useful, thank you! :)

Something I have learned lately, if you have a friend that likes to hide offline, you can still invite them to a group by typing a command, /invite @TheirName :)

You don't need fully charged heavy attack to knock down off-balanced enemy, slightly charged will do.

I actually used to think that was just luck, or based on weaker enemies, very useful to know this!

It took me over a year to realize that you could select both normal and veteran dungeons when choosing which to queue for, I assumed you had to pick one or the other. This is really helpful for doing daily pledges if you don't want to be stuck in queue for ages.

hi, can you explain how you do that? i've been wanting this feature for forever.

[edit] mind me, I thought you were talking about queing in both normal and veteran random dungeon...

This one is probably well known but I feel very important for a brand new player.

Start your crafting research IMMEDIATELY. It is a massive time sink and even if you don’t plan to craft you might change your mind down the track. It’s really easy to get a hold of gear with traits for research (well 8 of the 9 anyway).

Just a few more that I thought of!
    • Auto Cast Ground Abilities: Settings, Gameplay, Combat, Quick Cast Ground Abilities. Switch this on, it saves a lot of time in your attacks!
    • Autoloot, people may already know this, but if you are not worried about item space yet, or you keep on top of it by deconstructing and selling, its a great way to build up materials and a little bit of gold. Settings, Gameplay, Items, Autoloot AND Consolidate Area Loot. Very handy!
    • Attacking Innocents, Settings, Gameplay, Combat. Nice to have this off if you don't want to hurt people and get in trouble, but also you may need it on if youre doing thieves guild/dark brotherhood stuff!
    • Profanity Filter. Settings, Social, Profanity Filter. If you are not bothered by swear words, you can switch this off. But I tend to have it off anyway as the game can accidentally block things that are not swear words at all, it can make chat quite nonsensical sometimes.
    • And finally a non setting related tip! Keep the high ground! Whenever you are trying to find a location, treasure chest, anything, and you don't know exactly how to get there or where it is, in general you should always stay on higher ground. Because you can always jump down, even if it means death (you simply respawn) you will be at the area you need. However, if you fall down or run around a mountain or cliff to find something, you will often find it was above you, and you now have a ridiculously long run to get back up there again!

On brand new characters I take the boats and caravans from location to location, making sure to find each wayshrine at each stop. For instance I can start in Stros M'kai, take the boat to Betnikh, Glenumbra, etc, then in Bangkorai I change to a different alliance and work my way through, repeating for the final alliance. In many cases, you'll also get other wayshrines appearing in the same zones.

In the main hub for each alliance (Elden Root, Mournhold, Wayrest) you can take the quest that gets you to Craglon, you can then drop the quest. The same goes for Wrothgar, but don't abandon that one unless you want Stuga to bother you again.

There's also navigators to Summerset and Vardenfell in most of these major towns

There is a way to make your female characters do the sexy booty-shake dance that male Redguards do. Quick slot the skeleton polymorph (other polymorphs may work, can’t remember), activate it and enter /danceredguard, then hit the Quickslot key again to switch back to your normal form.

F1 Brings up the ESO Guide that can answer pretty much all questions, including telling you what you need to do for each event.

Did you check F1? = Did you turn it off and on?

The new Guild Listing link is clickable, it has your advert in it. You don't need a big advert in Zone along with the link.

    • You can change the colour and brightness of enemy areas of effect (by default, a slightly transparent red) in the Settings menu. Set it to a bright pink or something like that; makes not standing in "red" (now pink) a lot easier.

This is exactly what I did and it makes a huuuuge difference. Much easier to see over all the other visual craziness going on in a trial or a dungeon.

Yes this a good one, only need to post the name of the guild now. And at maximum just a brief word about its focus. The name should be enough to interest people in your guild hopefully :)
