So you're reasoning is: "As a PvP player I am forced to PvE, so let's make the PvE'ers suffer".....seems reasonable...

The entitlement is strong with this one ...
Pvp stones really aren't that hard to get though, I know it sucks but it really isn't bad. Buy a few siege items and find a zerg and you can get to rank 1 in 30-45 min per character. I do it on the weekends with all 8 of my characters and it goes quickly.

Eeeeeeeeexcept you need to consider all of the time that PvPers have to spend doing PvE to acquire gear they need. People need monster sets regardless of whether they primarily PvE or PvP. I know many PvPers who loathe PvE the same way that many PvEers hate PvP. To get the full set they need to both run a given dungeon enough times to get the correct weight and run enough pledges to get enough keys to get the correct shoulders.
PvPers: they have easier access to transmute crystals so they don't have to run PvE content over and over again to get gear that's the trait they need (as primarily a PvEer, I am happy to run dungeons multiple times to get the piece of gear that I want in the correct trait so I don't have to transmute. This is much more painful for a PvEer).
PvEers: running dungeons multiple times is not as extraordinarily painful (I know there are exceptions though!) as it would be for a PvPer. There are also ways to get plenty of transmute crystals if you hate PvP that much. I hated it for a long long long time and obtained the 250 that I needed by running all seven trials on my two toons for the weekly coffer (5 crystals x 7 trials x 2 toons = 70 per week) and then running the non-DLC pledges on vHM on both (netting roughly 8 per day since I always get 2) along with the daily random.
If you calculate it out, PvP doesn't actually net a whole lot more crystals than PvE. You get 50 at the end of a 30-day campaign; if you run 10 trials a month you'll also net 50...
The need for more crystals is what recently got me into PvP. Having seen things from both perspectives, it's pretty nicely balanced.
Also, to get the 50 crystals at the end of the month you only need tier 1 rewards, which is 25k AP, I believe. If you find a decentish group in a campaign like Sotha or Vivec getting 25k will take at most 2 hours unless you're getting farmed by another faction. I've gotten 25k in about 20 minutes with good groups. Go to Cyro, kill a delve boss for the 20% AP boost, find a zerg, and spam healing springs and mutagen. Done.

Again I dont support the fact that PvPers are forced to PvE. I dont like that either...but why would you reason "we are screwed, so you should be too". As for your trial argument, it doesnt qork for many reasons. Most high end PvE teams run 1 trial on 1 toon. So 4 coffers per month. No time to run other trials or other toons because you spend so much time pushing a score. And if you look at non high end PvE then it's even worse, because it takes them ages to clear and so the time investment is humongous.

You get a guaranteed 6 a day per character if you do the pledges. Find a good group, and it'll take you an hour or so. You have to wait a full month to get your 50 stones from Vivec. There are plenty of PVE opportunities to get your transmute stones.

Eeeeeeeeexcept you need to consider once you have it that you do need to keep farming for that gear. The comparison is not equal by any stretch.
And I spend plenty of time in PvP and I can see the disparity. Even more so with faction lock coming.
Beside, it does not take a rocket scientist to see that is just a stupid design. Players bring every character into a 30 day campaign just long enough to get tier 1 rewards. It does not contribute anything to actual PvP so it really seems odd some are trying to defend it. Such a lame response.

Pledges and a weekly trial coffer does not define "plenty".

PvP - 1 hr investment for 50 stones.
PvE - 1 hr investment to get under 10 stones.

Okay, I'll do some math for you
PVE:
6 from pledges a day (usually a few more) x 30 days = 180 stones a month per character
5 from a coffer in a trials (another 5 if you make the leaderboards for the weekly) x 7 trials a week x 4 weeks = 140 stones a month per character
That's an opportunity for a MINIMUM of 320 transmute stones per character a month.
PVP
50 stones per character in a month
??? any other questions.
Just because YOU don't want to do it... doesn't mean it's not there.

I have had some fast days and some slow days...days where I can get 5 toons to tier1 in 3 hrs and days where I struggled to get 1. But that doesnt matter...I hate PvP...I never build for it because I hate it, I just leech xp... how does my presence benefit PvP? I wont help anyone, I will just take up a space. I have accepted the idiocy of the fact that PvP isnt split from PvE, but dont make me suffer further by having me waste my time on something I would much rather pay money for. I have 10 - 12 hrs a week to play this game...9 of them are devoted to trial running...selling transmute stones doesnt break anything...you can still farm them, but for those of us who dont have 30 hrs a week to participate in a part of the game that they detest it would be a godsend....If zos doesnt want to sell them, then at least make it reasonable to get them. Make trial coffers drop 25 stones and dungeons drop a guaranteed 5...that alone would be enough to balance things.

Let me do some math for YOU:
6 from pledges every day - 45 minutes minimum times 30 days = 22.5 hrs
10 from a weekly trials x 7 trials per week = 5 hrs between the getting a group and all that times 4 weeks = 20 hrs
So at a minimum 42.5 hrs for 320 stones versus 6 hours to do that in PvP

Yeah, with a hard cap of 50 of them a month.
You want more of them, you can put in some more time in PVE to get them.
Shocking concept. More work = more reward.
Yes, you get some from RotW boxes too... You also get random drops from bosses in dungeons, etc...
