Quality of Life - Allow us to put sets in bags.

Yes having a mannequin or Armour racks would be very nice to have, maybe via purchasing through writ tickets like the storage crates. But I think that Crown collectible limits would need to be lifted a lot higher in order to actually have some use for them.

I think i would have more than 10 mannequin's with sets that I have "benched" as the meta has changed/ nerfed out of play-ability.

Very cool Idea totally On-board with that.

My inventory/bank is cluttered with single space weapon and armor from all different kinds of sets.

My proposal is to allow us to combine armor/weapon into a bag similar to what you get as BG PvP rewards but with the ability to name them.

Impen Hundings Rage - Open bag and it has 3 jewelry pieces and 2h weapon you stored.

Bag would still take 4 inventory space. These bags won't make your inventory smaller in terms of carry capacity, just tidy then up a bit.

Star Wars Galaxies had a similar system with bags/backpacks.

Make it even a craftable item that people can sell.

You are a freaking hero with that suggestion. My goodness.

I would quite like to have armor racks in my house, that can store and display 1 set of armor each.

Suggestions such as these have measurable limitations on the server / database and serve little purpose outside of house decor flavor.

All we need, as many have suggested over the years is a simple compartmentalization system for sorting gear and items into catagories analogous to a file / folder management in windows.

Inventory space and item occupancy remains the same but are sorted out in labeled bags for easy navigation and order.

The addon that was linked in this thread is a solid solution.

Oh I run many Addons that aid in inventory sorting and organization. That is not the main reason for responding though. I was agreeing that adding more space to housing via mannequin's or storage would fulfill the issue at hand. Some may call this an unnecessary "vanity" and deem it not needed in the slightest, but I would strongly disagree. I really do not see the "server limitations" via these ideas in an MMO such as this, when there are literally countless configurations of housing decorations ,in the 700+ for larger houses, being instanced for millions on the server at one time. A few extra crates and coffers/mannequin is not going to send the servers into Overdrive!

An Armory has been suggested, which would likely be an account wide bag to hold armor much like the crafting bag works.. Probably bound armor. This would also be tied to ESO+, obviously.

Some better inventory management tools would be needed and all names of items need to be standardized so set names come first in the name of an item.

This is something I've wanted for a very long time. I think it's essential. There are so many sets in the game, it is not practical for players who experiment with sets extensively to manage them easily.

I am frequently limited in what I can do because of inventory constraints. I waste hours searching for items and shifting items around.

The Armory concept also adds more of a collection dynamic for gear as well as players would want to add each trait of all sets to their collection.

It would be a MASSIVE QOL enhancement for me. It would save me hours every month.

Lol not happening. How else are they financing the game? I don't want it to become a stale game with no content like guild wars 2 where you didn't have to buy anything

Nice idea but I would rather have Grandmaster's Crafting Stations that would allow you to "learn" how to make set items by deconstructing them at this station.

So let's say you grind out Winterborn jewelry but don't plan to use it for a while - you can decon the jewelry at your Grandmaster's Jewelry Crafting Station and then you can re-craft those pieces at any time using normal materials.

The Storage boxes are crown purchase-able......as would be the mannequin's or armory racks. This would not be groundbreaking.... nor would it be stagnating the game in anyway!? Even if you do the grind to get the tickets to buy them, there are those who want the instant purchase of space. Can't call that a loss of financing.

Man tha would really suck the day you ran out of eso+ Having to try and bring your bag back under 240 from like 10k hahah. You would be there all day.

The craft bag reverts to read-only, so the bank would do the same. It's not like everyone's isn't always full anyway, is it? hah

I want this. I think I want this now more than I want account-wide lorebooks. I'm actually a little disappointed that you've introduced this idea that I want so much because now I miss something it didn't occur to me to want previously. I would be pleased if at a minimum you could store an entire pair of 5-piece armor/weapon sets per bag. That would limit the infinite bag problem, but if they then gave an auto-equip for a given set bag the QOL improvement would just be out of this world.

I really like this idea. inventories are getting pretty unwieldy at this stage in the game. Nice job!

I've been arguing for something similar for awhile. I called them Armor Trunks. There is an Add on that at least clusters them together. Don't remember the name ATM.

I dig it. However, I would make the containers take up just one inventory space because the people deserve nice things. Right? @ZOS_GinaBruno the people...deserve nice things?

My solution has always been set bound mannequins. I think it would be awesome for collecters. If I had a Burnign Spell Weave mannequin for example, I could store unlimited BSW gear on it and it would take the appearance of the motif in question. I can just picture my manor lined with 50 of these.

It may be that I'm tired, but I had to re-read the OP's proposal a couple of times. After doing so, I agree it's a great idea.

I can see a few small problems with how understanding how many inventory slots are available when items are bundled like that.
My #1 wish for ESO Today: Decouple achievements from character progress and tracking.

Even better, make it a mannequin for homes. Mannequins can hold sets, at least 1 of each type of armor/weapon can be stored in the mannequin as long as they are all the same set. Even unique named items of a set would count.

So a mannequin is bought, is tuned to Sunderflame and then you can put regular named items in it like “Sunderflame Necklace” but you can also put named items like “Bow of the Deadlands”.

I'd love to see mannequins added as well! They'd be perfect as a new furnishing bought with either crowns or vouchers. The way I've suggested them before in other threads is when you click on them, they instantly swap whatever they might be wearing with what you are wearing. So pretty much exactly how they work in other games, like Starbound. Adding this would pretty much add the functionality of the Dressing Room mod to the core game allowing everyone, including the console players, to swap out sets easier.

Mannequins would be great for players who want to decorate their homes with their armor, but it's not a practical solution for the inventory issues related to the massive number of sets and traits available.

Don't get me wrong, I hope ZOS does implement them for players interested in them, but they should not be considered a solution to this problem.
