Quality of Life - Allow us to put sets in bags.

My inventory/bank is cluttered with single space weapon and armor from all different kinds of sets.

My proposal is to allow us to combine armor/weapon into a bag similar to what you get as BG PvP rewards but with the ability to name them.

Impen Hundings Rage - Open bag and it has 3 jewelry pieces and 2h weapon you stored.

Bag would still take 4 inventory space. These bags won't make your inventory smaller in terms of carry capacity, just tidy then up a bit.

Star Wars Galaxies had a similar system with bags/backpacks.

Make it even a craftable item that people can sell.

    BUT MORE! <3

I also like this idea a lot! It would not work for me on my healers (dressing room, I use for all sorts of set combos), because my set combos change - but it would be awesome on others!

I am always for MORE options over less!

I <3<3<3 this concept and was going to propose the same. I've collected many 5-piece sets and they are such a pain to keep together when transferring them from one character to another. This is especially true for pieces named "Armor of the X" rather than "X Armor" as they don't sort together, although there is a nice addon that resolves this little part of the issue.

Please note that I'm wanting this concept added purely to help with how tedious inventory organization is, so I'm perfectly ok with the set containers taking up multiple slots of inventory space.

    Yeah this exactly.

I would love "set bags" to help tidy my bank! Even if they aren't bags of holding.

I Iove this and fully advocate a craft bag for Armor. Either that or let us store stuff in crafting stations. Damn things are everywhere and it would be a good place to store sets. Maybe limit it to 5-10

An Armory has been suggested, which would likely be an account wide bag to hold armor much like the crafting bag works.. Probably bound armor. This would also be tied to ESO+, obviously.

Some better inventory management tools would be needed and all names of items need to be standardized so set names come first in the name of an item.
    Really, idk

Even better, make it a mannequin for homes. Mannequins can hold sets, at least 1 of each type of armor/weapon can be stored in the mannequin as long as they are all the same set. Even unique named items of a set would count.

So a mannequin is bought, is tuned to Sunderflame and then you can put regular named items in it like “Sunderflame Necklace” but you can also put named items like “Bow of the Deadlands”.

You’re right, I can’t stand inconsistent naming conventions.

Grouping sets would be awesome, but even simpler, could the older sets please be renamed like the newer sets? For example, “Siroria’s lightning staff” instead of “lightning staff of Necropotence.” This would make viewing sets so much simpler because they would naturally be grouped together in your bank. Right now naming is a complete mess.

This would not make it better as OP is looking to make it accessible. Having to go back to ones home is a chore.

Your second point makes no sense. What is the point of it being "tuned" to a specific set to begin with, but even more so if you are placing whatever you want on it to begin with.

Mannequin is a worse storage idea than the chests.

I don't even have enough space as a sub user .

I play 5 chars , all roles including PVP and PVE , at least 6-7 sets each char .

I am on console , no free PTS testing .

The only reason I sub , crafting bags which save my char and bank slots , TBH , the inventory system of ESO is very bad .

Sorry about that , this is my point of view tho .

I can keep sets that I curently dont use in my alts invetory. For me the real reason for lack of bank space are paradoxally... Style materials. Think of it. Bank space has 240 slots. With every new DLC / Chapter we have at least 2 new motive materials. Sometimes even more as some motive materials also have "raw" items that you need to keep. Already it is imposible to keep all craftning materials in your bank, even if you want to keep only one stack. If you limit yourself to keep only top tier mats then it is barely doable.
And the need to have premium account (eso+) in a buy to play game to make basic stuff (such as invetory management) should immediately light up red warning light.
ZOS should simply "update" default bank space (240 slots was fine when the game launched, but now, it is simply not enough). This is a win-win solution as ESO + will get double of that.

How about a furnishing item - a bag which allows you to put that set in a separate storage which is available to all characters, like the craft bag?

So you'd make a "holdall of Hundings Rage".

You'd need to craft a different holdall for each set.

I had this idea a loooong time ago, and it may be floating around somewhere. So yes, I'd love this too. It's not just about space, but just pure convenience. For example, if you use the same sets among multiple alts, you could simply transfer the bag and voila! No more searching for the parts you need.

I think this is a great idea, and it has been mentioned many times before.
I'd even love to be able to sell crafted sets as a complete outfit in guild stores, but that's an entirely different thing :)

I would however like to mention the Housing Storage Chests as a possible alternative.
With all 8 Chests you have access to 360 additional item slots.
If you are savvy and only store the necessary 5 pieces of each set, you can essentially store 72 specific sets (obviously that would require a lot of farming for the right pieces, but in theory it's possible)
Even if you decided to store 10 pieces of each set - to give you more flexibility when combining them - you can still store 36 full sets.
That doesn't of course take into consideration undaunted monster pairs, but again with some clever planning they would only take up one of the smaller boxes in total.
The limitation with the above is actually the limited chest description text, to allow you to identify which sets it contains.
Worth thinking about for those of you who are really struggling with space as I do :#

But the wretched inventory system is the games biggest time sink. Their numbers would drop if they fixed any of it, so they won't.

I would quite like to have armor racks in my house, that can store and display 1 set of armor each.
