Thanks a lot for the clarification!ZOS_SarahHecker wrote: »Just to confirm - the Morrowind Chapter includes the Warden. If you see any packages (like Elsweyr) that includes this in its description, you will get both the Zone DLC and the Warden Class.
@Tevalaur I already wondered about that. But is that so, that the digital Standard Edition isn't compatible with an exisiting account? I assumed it is compatible. Even if I would have to download a new digital version of the game to play, all this would necessarily still be tied to my XBL account and my exisiting ESO account and characters, wouldn't it? Otherwise, I would pay just 60€ for the base game and the 3 chapters as a completely new player, and easy over 100€ for the 3 chapters combined as an existing player (+ having paid full price for Tamriel Unlimited on release).@Keras Notice however that only the "digital game" includes Morrowind & Summerset chapters, not the upgrade. So likely you'd not be able to continue using the same account/characters if you gain warden this route!

Do I automatically get access to Elsweyr and the Necromancer class?
Or, do I have access to Elsweyr, but need to (and can) buy the Necromancer class separately?
Or, do I have to buy the Elsweyr pack in order to get the Necromancer class?

That is why it is still called "chapter".
Morrowind which you get via preordering Elsweyr doesn't contain the Warden class.
Morrowind and the Warden class have been separated, Morrowind is considered a DLC now and not counted as a Chapter anymore. The only Chapter at the moment is Summerset up until the moment Elsweyr gets released, then it will become a DLC as well (doesn't mean you get Morrowind and Summerset content by subscribing to ESO+).
If you buy the retail version of Morrowind you still get the Warden class, that's how I did it two months ago when I changed to Xbox. Otherwise the Warden class must be purchased in the Crown Store.

When Elsweyr comes out, I assume the Summerset "Chapter" will become DLC, and the Jewelry crafting feature will be a Crown store purchase.
Well, it's a huge problem if all the player community gets are assumptions.
The 'Standard Edition' of Elsweyr gets promoted as including the Morrowind and Summerset chapters. When I go on the official ESO site and look at the content of the Morrowind and Summerset chapters, I get told about features like "Craft your own jewelry" and "Become the warden". The natural conclusion would be that I get full access to everything Morrowind and Summerset have to offer, including the Warden class and jewelry crafting.
I wish ZOS would give unmistakable information about the content I get if they want me to pay them money.
