This is for any admin or mod if they make another post on here. At least tell us that there is an issue and what that issue is. If you just say "Hey sorry we screwed up and here's the issue, we're working on it but it will take some time, thank you for your patience...". because that's more than we've gotten so far. I understand that you can't magically solve everything and customer support is exploding right now but at least be honest and just keep us up to date on what's going on and who's affected because I promise you that the community will be far more likely to forgive you for any mistakes.
Same situation here, can't find a way of getting subrscription plan and my 30 days free in-game time, cause everyt transaction Im trying to make, either normally or via paypal is "not authorised".
The best part is that they're going to apologize for this Nothing more

I can't believe this is still going on. I've been able to link my PayPal account in order to subscribe, but I'd much prefer using my Visa. I assumed this error would've cleared up since the last time I tried to sub with my Visa on Sunday. Apparently not. What the heck is going on? I don't think I've ever had a service simply refuse to accept my Visa card.
im getting pretty upset, i have opened tickets for 3 days now, and each time was just a shrug off and now ive not been replied back to for 24 hours. they have just stopped caring it seems. maybe in a week i can play finally.
Got the same problem, transaction not authorised etc etc.
CSR e-mailed me yesterday stating that they fixed it, but when I tried to use paypal/Visa again I got the same error message.
Argh, I just want to play this game.

Stop buying more than 1 sub ..I to made that mistake yesterday and when I looked at my bank statement today , Zenimax has charged me for 9 subscriptions and yet my account is still inactive... all the subs you keep buying even with prepaid cards .. wow I don't know how you will get your money back from that but I have had to get my bank to get visa to go after them directly.
If it don't work the first time ... Trust me Zenimax already has Your money ,, If I could submit an image here I would show you my bank statement of 130$ to zenimax yesterday ..and still no response from them.
I experienced this with my second purchase of ESO on the same credit card within minutes of the first. It was my bank being cautious - I just went and bought it from another vendor with the same card. No problem...
I also did the same thing. Purchased a $20 prepaid Visa card, no go. I can't pay with my Paypal account either....got this error message. This sucks cause I actually liked this game.
nothing has changed for me, i will keep trying though, it does suck to watch my friends all play without me though, why is it localized to just me?? i cant even do it using their cards and pc...
well, update, kinda weird, but i had a feeling something was wrong when i kept trying to put the billing adress as my card info, and it was set to my brothers card adress because i used his to purchase my game, weird, i know, so i deleted cookies and tried again, same adress as my brothers card, not mine, finally after 3 days, allowed to play..
im wondering if it has to do with what card you use, or maybe just a simple cookies clear will do it.. maybe its magic, but o well, hope this helps you guys
I tried to activate my account many times for 3 different computers with different operation systems and browsers(with two of them have already been successfully activated other accounts). I used 5 different bank cards(with two of them have already been successfully activated other accounts) and i still cant playing... that error stealed 3 days of my subscribe

Really this is stupid, i have been waiting since april 6 for a solution to this transaction error... sent tickets to support already and i still cant play the game...
Well guys, better to ask your friends that have a Credit Card or PayPal or another payment method..because for now support for this problem is very bad. Thanks to my friend i did activate my sub. and now can enjoy the game..i activate it yesterday and only today i get this message from support :

Anyone issue solved? Because Bethesda says: "We have contacted our Customer support team to help you solve your issue." I sent e-mails to customer support many times. But they are not interest my issue and they not help.
Is this something that needs to be addressed on an individual basis by support? I assumed it was some weird bug in their web code that needed to be fixed. My brother was able to subscribe with his Visa card without any problem. I'd sure like to as well.

Oddly I had the same error when I tried to setup my subscription using my VISA... but everything was fine using my MasterCard. Could it be a security issue with the authentication between Zenimax and VISA?
The only negative experience in ESO is those that make it negative.
They are contact with me yesterday via e-mail. I sent them my account informations. They will check my account. And according to Bethesda's Costumer Support, "it takes 5-7 business days for refund." Today we reach the 7 days. I wish they will help.
Same problem here folks. My VISA doesn't work, my friend's (same kind) worked just fine. Wtf zenimax? Many days, many tickets, support doesn't give a damn. Im starting to wonder if it's possible to get a refund for the game, and just leave this behind me. They doesn't seem to want my money
