E: how would it affect balance? Well, it would certanly buff stam sorcs a bit since they can make use of some class passives (curse gives daedric protection, frags proc blood magic) and gives greater build freedom.
And sure it would make more fun than to not use them.

Sorc needs a lot more than 1 skill rework.
Trash the Daedric Mines skill and the morphs entirely. Replace with something else.... anything else. It is not ran effectively in PVP or PVE. It's time to put ol' yellar down. It's got the skill rabies, we've done what we could for it.... it's time to just let go.

Daedric Tomb is an integral part of sorc burst, especially against melee classes. Concept is good but needs more damage and needs to cost less.

Daedric Tomb is an integral part of sorc burst, especially against melee classes. Concept is good but needs more damage and needs to cost less.
There are better options, but perhaps changing the Daedric Mines to more of a larger ground based sigil, like mage lines fire rune would fix it. So throw it down, it pops once immediately and then once every 3 seconds. So it would fit 3 pops in a 6 second skill. You would have burst potential area denial, and give cause to reduce the magicka cost. A viable skill in PVE and PVP? Of course, this could just be limited to one morph. Thoughts?

Nah I use Cloak now since they've ruined Shadow Image. Pretty OP ability btw, not sure if anyone has told ZOS yet.
