I think it would be a good idea not sure how to do it but make a way to grow plants like worm wood night shade bugloss ect in your house and be able to harvest like let's say once a week. Just a idea if you can build off this comments are welcome

This would be a good idea in all honesty, but unfortunately I doubt the company will do that there busy adding dragons to Elswyer instead of Skyrim or Akviri where Dragons there in Lore.

LoTRO has a great Farming system. Hell, even TROVE has a way to grow usable plants to harvest. So, I'd say there is definitely a community of people that would use it. I would.

Additionally, it would be another way to add utility to housing. It would also open up future housing designs that included larger patches of ground that are more ideally suited towards crops.

It is a rare mind indeed that can render the hitherto non-existent blindingly obvious. The cry 'I could have thought of that' is a very popular and misleading one, for the fact is that they didn't, and a very significant and revealing fact it is too. - Douglas Adams

Nope. Mod wasn't needed. It was part of the game. It just depended on what house what type of nodes were available. Now, a mod may have given homes all available nodes no matter which house, sure. But, there is most definitely precedence even before skyrim.

What would be nice is if we had placeable containers which we could grow plants in, so that we could put them anywhere we wanted to, even inside, rather than just outside. Or other things for outside as well, like placeable patches of tilled soil.

This idea just makes me want a farming house even more...with things like placeable animated cows, chickens, and goats that are furnishing items rather than pets.
    Legends never die
    They're written down in eternity
But you'll never see the price it costs
The scars collected all their lives
When everything's lost, they pick up their hearts and avenge defeat
Before it all starts, they suffer through harm just to touch a dream
    Oh, pick yourself up, 'cause
    Legends never die

That would be nice too where if you need meat you can get from the animals or plants for food and such there the options are limitless if done right. I can also see where houses with larger plots that have fields and such too, this would be good for guilds also as supply and such. You could even expand into mines like they had in Skyrim and such so it is really limitless options and ideas for it.

Housing would be so much more fun if you could harvest and fish in them, sometimes. Love the ideas in this thread.

Yes please! One of the biggest pain points I have with this game is how much time/in game currency you have to be willing to commit if you want to be able to run crafted potions on a regular basis. I can easily go through 100 potions in a night of PvP so to keep up with that x4 nights a week I'd have to farm ingredients for probably 10-12 hours or spend upwards of 60K to get them in the trader. There shouldn't be haves and have not's for something as basic as potions.
