I agree with your post with this exception.
I really really hope they stick with these changes. My favourite from miles away 😍
Hybrids exist and are awesome when thinking out of the box, with the only exception in vet raids ... and ESO is not only vet trials.
You have friendly hybrid sets and one specific (pelinal's) and the game seriously needs build diversity 😉

@MartiniDaniels It will be obviously impossible to obtain a perfect balance. There are too many races for the classic roles of DPS, Healer and Tank.
Some races will be better for PVE, others for PVP, some will be better for specific raid roles as there will be others for niche builds (i can think one nice for bosmer).
For elite players there can be only one, in any case, for the role they choose so the others will be #2 #3 #4 etc etc
Non min-maxers dont have that "curse", if the races are well balanced, they can have fun with almost any choice.
But i have the same opinion as you that bosmer and imperial are last choices compared to others so:
- Imperials already were in a bad spot
- bosmer will be for niche builds atm
But lets see the futures PTS changes because i strongly believe that these 2 will be revaluated

We only have 1 chance left for changes. ZOS only does balance changes on PTS 1, 3, and 5 (these changes are final and usually don't get re-evaluated). This is why it's so important to spam your feedback now while there is still a chance to change something.
Dunmer and Khajiit are not hybrids as in hybrid sets. They are versatile in that they can do both magic and stamina DD.CurvedSwords123 wrote: »CurvedSwords123 wrote: »Orcs just outclass Redguards now, especially with upcoming stat scaling. Maybe, maybe not. Redguards were the clear stamrace for pve in the past, that was bad. Making orc better than everything in PvE and PvP (with the added benefit of survivability and not being restricted to WEP skills) is not the solution though. Again, not asking for an orc nerf, I'm glad orcs are happy with their goodies; ZoS just needs to distribute more goodies to other races now. I'm glad prominent ESO analysts feel the same way as I do. Let's not make this "Redguards and High Elves deserve to be at the bottom now cuz they were leet prior".
Races I feel need love in order of necessity:
-Redguard (WrathofInnos's ideas for Redguard are incredible)
-Imperial
-Altmer (just revert the change already)
-Dark Elf (there are no hybrid DPs in ur game, rework pls)
-Bosmer (give them some kind of stealth benefit)
Like honestly ZoS, if you need help with your decision making look to WrathofInnos's post, he has done an incredible and fair job with his suggestions to racial passives.

Well I think the only races that need a slight buff are imperials and a very very tiny buff to wood elves, otherwise everything seems ok

Slight buff ? I dare ZOs to release 4.3.2 patch in PTS and let it go live. Its direct challenge to combat designers. Even school kid will do better maths than ZOs balance team. What a waste of money for ZOs. A minute of silence for ZOs shareholders.
There will be only race in PVP that is ORC. There is 3 free race change token right ?
Pathetic noobs streamers begging for cheese. Crybabies.

But thanks to the unmitigated whining and tantrum throwing that was nothing short of childish and pathetic, it’s very possible that orcs get nerfed while other classes get buffed resulting in a double nerf, as ZOS has done in the past, although I’m really hoping the new combat team is better than that. Because people didn’t do any testing they just cried and whines and screamed and made untrue statements, biased claims and made a far, far bigger deal out of what was essentially a 1-2k more dps on a 6 million target skeleton. It’s just sad. A large handful of forum users really just took it over the top.

It's a feedback thread and I'm giving feedback. I'm being very clear that I don't want to see orcs nerfed. I legit want everyone to be happy with the upcoming changes to their favourite races.

Is that an admission that Orc is now in the same position as the "clear stamina race"?
Why do we want to repeat the same mistake? So they can do a third racial pass a year from now and tick off all the new Orc players?
I still think that giving Orc 1000 Health, 2000 Stamina, and the 258 Weapon Damage is not balanced with what other races are getting. I mean where is Altmer's 1000 health if we are comparing Orc and Altmer stats?
Also, If you watch Fengrush's video you will see he is jumping out of his chair with happiness compared to Alcast's WTF moment. Everyone seems to have a bias...
In the end it isn't a huge difference, but 1000 health is enough of a stat boost to use Orc on any build I want to do competitive DPS on. That will allow me to go with purple or yellow food and I won't have to add health from as many other sources. Also the sprint cost reduction and sprint speed is nice for repositioning and avoiding mechanics. Also, when things go sideways and you have to kite a boss more speed is always good.
In the end I don't care that much if Orc is the clear choice for stamina DPS, but I would like to see Bosmer and Imperial made a little more compelling before this patch goes live.
