Another reason why we need a faction lock for campaigns, people can be such petty a holes. If it makes you feel better I totally punked the DC player that killed you quite a few times the last couple of weeks.

Maybe Cyrodiil should just be factionless, with the only group element being the ones you form yourself.
Otherwise, what you're saying is the system is broken and there's no redemption for it.
If that's truly the case, what good is PvP?

People don’t like gankers? Idk sometimes I warn people about gankers but usually only if it’s going to be an Xv1 situation and it’s someone I respect as a player. Perhaps they wanted to duel and they didn’t want you ganking?

You can't defend this blue guy spy, if you want to duel go outside cyrodil there is the duel system :)

Are you talking about the tea bagging? I had it happen to me again last night. It didn't bother me though because I was outnumbered 1v4 (and I still managed to kill 1). So if tea bagging me was supposed to be a way of showing how much better they were as players, it carried no weight. After a while, you begin to pity players who tea bag knowing that they need numbers to get kills; they can't see how weak they really are. Don't feel bad about it.

Can't say I have any sympathy when this happens to someone playing a gank or snipe playstyle, I believe karma is the word.

I wouldn't do it to someone out in the open, but if you stealth out in a keep defense I will gladly do my best to bring a swarm of enemies to your hiding spot.

    So, let me be clear.
I don't care about being killed in PvP.
I do think of me getting caught out as karma. I believe when I inevitably get teabagged that I deserve it.

What's lame is having your own supposedly teammates, your own faction, those who are supposed to work with you, work against you.

You're right to not have sympathy for this playstyle. That's not the argument here. The issue is that what I'm doing is for the alliance I'm working for. I shouldn't have to worry about those supposedly on my side.

OH, I see. Yeah, that's BS. Maybe he was just faction hopping. He might be maining a different faction and is just being a saboteur.

    Favorite Foods and Potions
    https://media.giphy.com/media/3otPoTggaYFNd1FdAI/giphy.gif
    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

Same. Even when I'm at the shrines in homebase, I constantly buff.
It's habit..a good one to have. You never know when you're going to round a corner and have to fight..

That's why I'm so amazed at the constant need to point out I was buffing...like that's supposed to show some intent on my part.

There is a problem when people die so fast they don't even have time to type two words.

Offense is way out of control. And that was just a single person. Imagine if a couple of players had found you (which isn't exactly an uncommon occurrence).

There is a problem when people die so fast they don't even have time to type two words.

Offense is way out of control. And that was just a single person. Imagine if a couple of players had found you (which isn't exactly an uncommon occurrence).

Just a result of the build I'm running. I've had healers kill me. I literally have zero crit resists. Full damage glass canon...
Actually, what's easier to break than glass?
That's on me and my choice of build

Wearing damage sets should not mean you die in one second.

That's not on you. It's on the game and their ridiculous damage.

I agree...it's a direct result of this new tank meta, where everyone's running around in heavy with 30k+ health.
Everything seems way too strong...damage is crazy, and so is healing.
Back in the day, PvP used to be about killing...now it's about surviving and outlasting.
Don't know if that's exactly a good thing..

Really, one comment in 5 years and it's this? I bet you're the player that gave his position away to the enemy. :D

Let me start off saying I love PvP in ESO. The combat is fun and fast paced and exciting.
This situation, however, is anything but fun.
I don't understand why players do this, what they get out of it, or why this is even allowed....but this is something that definitely ruins fun.

    The joys of PvP.

Aside from the fact your own allies were spotting for the enemy - you have to love how you died almost instantly.

Kinda happens when you're too amazed to fight back and are busy typing *** off

Yeah, but they don't seem to want to separate PVE sets from PVP.

such tactics have been around for years. however, I have seen worse behavior which players now take as acceptable.

That's why you trust no one in PvP, and become strong enough to handle or take anything. You should have immediately attacked that blue guy instead of typing...

We have a dueling system that allows you to duel in a private duel that no one else can ruin. Cyro is not for dueling. If you are fighting in Cyro you are free game. There are not dueling rules there. "maybe they were dueling" is a bad excuse.

It is interesting that people will make up rules and then use those made up rules to apply to a place that is a AvAvA location.

What happened in this video is cheating. Clear cheating. If you want to play on red to fight yellow than do so.

If you are going to duel in Cyro then you are going to get interrupted. I will always help a fellow yellow turn the tide of combat in Cyro no matter how small the battle.

All blues and reds must be defeated so badly they log off the game. ;)

That's lame and very poor form. And anybody defending deliberately giving away another faction members position like that is lame as well. And the dueling excuse? Seriously? Even if true that's still no excuse. Go duel away from the keeps, outposts and off the main transit lines. I thought PC had its share of morons. Looks like console is right up there with it.

Also good tip for NB's. Be like a shark and always keep moving. If you sit in one place you are going to regret it. Just watch the stam drain. Stam NB should not have a problem.

    This video is glorious.

I encourage everyone to do the same. There's no reason that we as a community can't remove the toxic gameplay of stealth ganking by using the capabilities allotted to us.

RIP, hope it happens until you decide to either stop PVPing or learn how to PVP.
