In my opinion everyone should do this to hidden/cloaked nightblades who are waiting in sneak to snipe/incap when someone starts to fight another player.

It is PvP and that member of your alliance got you into a potentially fun and fair fight but all you wanted to do was typ "*** off" and not fight (while in PvP). I think that player should be rewarded and you should be banned.

They should block other alliances when you enter cyrodiil. if you switch ally, then your points in pvp resets. monthly cycle ofc.

Just an observation, but typing up a more thorough explanation of what you were angry about would have saved you a lot of grief with the responses you got. You assumed everyone would immediately understand what you were posting about, but as you can see that wasn't the case.

I 100% agree this should be a bannable offense. ZOS should really faction-lock accounts for the duration of a campaign. You join Vivec for the month of August on EP? You can't login as AD on another toon for the duration of that campaign.

Of course, that wouldn't completely stop this behaviour. People could set up secondary accounts to do this on. But the hassle of dealing with that would act as something of a deterrent.

Yeah, *** sniper or not; if we had a friendly running scrolls to the enemy, it would be frowned on. Its fun to watch this, but it really shouldn't be allowed and punishable. Before someone again mentions "there are spies in war." The difference here is we cannot turn and kill the spy here.

It was obvious that he was giving away your position, and you had plenty of time to move away before you were spotted. This seems like a "Learn 2 Move" problem.

No strategic value? Just last night, I distracted a yellow zerg while my group was taking a keep right out from them.

By the time they realized what was happening it was too late, AND I got away.

I’ve done my fair share of solo ganking, but it’s a war zone. Youre trying to take my stuff, you die.

You have snipe on your bar. That's an auto L and an automatic tbag.

He got ratted on by his own team. That's what he's talking about.

I do the same if I see someone in my team cloaking with snipe lol.

I'd rather feed them to the dogs than have people exploiting a broken mechanic on my faction. And I'd personally rather die in a 1v3 let's say, then have a sniper from my faction help out and end up killing the three.

Until snipe is nerfed/removed I show no respect for people using it, regardless of them being in another faction or not.

I would say that guy is both an idiot and jerk. It is probably that he has his friends lack playing skill so they have to do that to get their kills.

One has to feel sorry for people like that though. They are the ones most likely to be 40 yo and still living in their mother's basement.

I think he is talking about at 0:17 there are friendly players in his alliance taking enemy players around showing them people to gank and where to attack.

What happened in the video is one sample; or the typical two faction groups teaming up because their on the same side, guild, whatever to expose their own faction's positions, report on undefended keeps, etc. When ZOS decided to remove account factions in Cyrodiil; than this is what happens, thanks to Tamriel One, they ruined faction campaign game-play.

The problem has been discussed in other forums; but you may add this to the list of CONS playing in Cyrodiil and how many guilds need this handicap to be effective in Cyrodiil without their spies or markers.

You probably ganked the fool who gave away your position when he was on his faction. Instead of slotting detect pots and battling it out, he hopped on your faction got some of his zergling buddies to 'kill the nb who got me."

I got ganked a couple of times by this guy, oddly enough while i was typing to a friend on the other and same faction the ganker was on. I didn t ask my pal where the fool nb was. I slotted detect pots and took 20 minutes tracking this fool down. I actually leadped that dummy through the map when I killed him. After the leap I floated under the map and hit a loading screen and emerged alive at the gate. It was COOL AF and I thank ZOS for that bit of buggines. Satisfying hehehehehehe.

I was gonna hate tell this fool and tell him he REALLY needs to take that PK off his name when they give out the free name change tokens next patch and stuff and ask him if he too went through the map after the leap but i thought "nah....f it , he was on some stupid sh*t, thought he was the real thang but he was just a duplicate"-Nori "There's a Body in the Trunk"lol

there is absolutely risk, most are glass cannons and are not that hard to find. the desync needs to be fixed, but the rest is a l2p issue.

I agree that in a 1v1 or even 1v2 moment they are super easy to kill (also because the average snipe using player isnt very good and doesnt know what to do when they actually get into a fight) but there is zero risk in spamming snipe from 40m away on someone who is fighting someone else.

Snipe on a nightblade is basically 100% riskfree. Snipe, roll, cloak and move 40m away and restart. That is why snipe is mostly used on nigtblades.. also because everyone and their mom seems to play a stamblade but that is another discussion.

At the very least the defile needs to go. The snipers would hardly notice that. They slotted it for the big damage number and not for the defile.

If they didn't know you were a sniper and you don't have a reputation for being a sniper then yes it was a *** move.

But as others have mentioned, snipers deserve this kind of treatment.

The solo-player and small-scale community have become sick of lurking snipers in the background abusing the desync exploit and knowing too well that they are exploiting a broken move.

So now its not uncommon for vigilante action where players will reveal snipers to other factions as a way to vent their frustration because ZoS still hasn't fixed the most broken skill in the game for 4 years now.

@Kel don't mind it, there will be always fools in cyrodiil.
