At this stage of the game true loyalty to one's faction is a form of roleplay (friends will play with friends regardless of what faction they are in and will at times help their friends make AP at the expense of other players in their own faction). Their really isn't any way to punish this sort of behavior, but what you can do is try to remember the names of players who are clearly enemies despite their choice in faction.
People don’t like gankers? Idk sometimes I warn people about gankers but usually only if it’s going to be an Xv1 situation and it’s someone I respect as a player. Perhaps they wanted to duel and they didn’t want you ganking?
Let me start off saying I love PvP in ESO. The combat is fun and fast paced and exciting.
This situation, however, is anything but fun.
I don't understand why players do this, what they get out of it, or why this is even allowed....but this is something that definitely ruins fun.https://youtu.be/Vggzw7K5FiI

Can't say I have any sympathy when this happens to someone playing a gank or snipe playstyle, I believe karma is the word.
I wouldn't do it to someone out in the open, but if you stealth out in a keep defense I will gladly do my best to bring a swarm of enemies to your hiding spot.
So, let me be clear.
I don't care about being killed in PvP.
I do think of me getting caught out as karma. I believe when I inevitably get teabagged that I deserve it.
What's lame is having your own supposedly teammates, your own faction, those who are supposed to work with you, work against you.
You're right to not have sympathy for this playstyle. That's not the argument here. The issue is that what I'm doing is for the alliance I'm working for. I shouldn't have to worry about those supposedly on my side.

Then ultimately, what's the point of factions or PvP in general then?
Maybe Cyrodiil should just be factionless, with the only group element being the ones you form yourself.
Otherwise, what you're saying is the system is broken and there's no redemption for it.
If that's truly the case, what good is PvP?

Fight alongside those who care (people you've seen fight and die for your faction) and avoid those who don't (people like the player in the video and well known faction trolls/spies).

The joys of PvP.
Aside from the fact your own allies were spotting for the enemy - you have to love how you died almost instantly.
I have always played PvE, bgs pugging or in group with guild in cyro, but i just recently started to 'git gud' and 1vX and ive been tea bagged sooo much since starting to do it lol. I think its quite hilarious how zerg v zerg only some t-bag but when it takes 30 odd players (with me wiping alot of em) to kill me they all t-bag XD no issues tho i find it funny

There is a problem when people die so fast they don't even have time to type two words.
Offense is way out of control. And that was just a single person. Imagine if a couple of players had found you (which isn't exactly an uncommon occurrence).

Just a result of the build I'm running. I've had healers kill me. I literally have zero crit resists. Full damage glass canon...
Actually, what's easier to break than glass?
That's on me and my choice of build

Wearing damage sets should not mean you die in one second.
That's not on you. It's on the game and their ridiculous damage.

I agree...it's a direct result of this new tank meta, where everyone's running around in heavy with 30k+ health.
Everything seems way too strong...damage is crazy, and so is healing.
Back in the day, PvP used to be about killing...now it's about surviving and outlasting.
Don't know if that's exactly a good thing..
