Thanks, but I've tried changing the program data folder. This hasn't solved my problem unfortunately. I'm still waiting for a response from the company, and I'm re-downloading the entire game in desperation.

I resolved this problem by launching a "repair". Hope this helps.

Restart the launcher, idan2313. Then click the little gear (there's two of them on screen) and repair is an option underneath.

On top of news feed, you have "Game options" with some entries: Check for Updates, Repair, etc.

NVM, i fixed it
so easy... when ever u get time out just do that:
go to -
X:\Program Files \ (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game
in that folder u will se file name "
game_player.version
"
just rename that file name to "
game_player1.version
"
and lunch the launcher and it will update the version and u can play!

Funny on my Win7 Machine I don't even have a game_player.version in that folder. Something is really screwed up. The file was on my Win8 Machine
