Hell just queuing for dungeons should give you a fair idea how much population loss this game has incurred as it used to be almost instant or definitely within 5 mins for even DPS classes to get a group. Now it averaged to almost 30 mins or more.

If the game's population is truly declining, if you are of the opinion that not changing the balance to please the existing customer base will save the population, you are delusional. Statistics has shown over and over again that stagnancy in a state of affairs is worse than a temporary regression and anarchy.
I didnt feel the game was stagnant. Im an existing customer. And I also have 2 accounts. Paid accounts at that.
I have several builds obviously. They are all affected. And if temporary regression the answer for stagnency, then the game has bigger problems which need addressing.

Arrodisia✭✭✭✭✭Actually, he's somewhat right, but this has been going on for some time. multiple threads were raised over the last few weeks. Even though ZOS has increased their efforts to repopulate, the game has been on a decline. There are way less people online in the guilds. A lot less people are in PvP in total. not just in one campaign. way less lfg's going on as well.
The player base isn't blind, and It will become even more obvious in the near future if these changes are pushed through in this manner.
It's not so much the changes themselves but ZOS's greed behind the changes and passing the burden of their balancing mistakes onto the players.
The player base isn't stupid either. You can read through the forum reactions about the attempts at repopulation without fixing the performance which is huge in the forums, and they're throwing free rewards in player's faces, (most of which are trash costing them nothing to give since they already existed) to try to get them just to log on.(examples calendar rewards, crates before that, twitch rewards,.....) The fan base reacted to many but not all changes negatively. This one is just over the top greedy and unjustified. The players have a right to speak their mind here. Please don't knock them or attack them for doing so.

For us investing time can be a challenge and to force these people of the segment to redo their characters is a travesty to the whole genre of mmorpgs. I've played quite a few and I have to tell ya this is one of the most screwed up changes I've ever heard of, or OH I REMEMBER, I think they tried this on Lineage 2 at the END OF THEIR GAME CYCLE...so is ESO at the end of their game cycle to do something this drastic then hmm?

Wait I'm the one that is giving personal testimony of what I've seen in the game as a long time player before and after the Sorcerer nerfs and the slow decline in population. Hell just queuing for dungeons should give you a fair idea how much population loss this game has incurred as it used to be almost instant or definitely within 5 mins for even DPS classes to get a group. Now it averaged to almost 30 mins or more.

The group finder has to do with an oversaturation of DPS you dunce. There are too many DPS and not enough tank/healers.
As for population, if you've been around since the beginning you would know the population has grown considerably and is continuing to grow.

You can read through the forum reactions to the attempts at repopulation without fixing the performance and throwing free rewards in player's faces, (most of which are trash costing them nothing to give since they already existed) to try to get them just to log on.(examples calendar rewards, crates before that, twitch rewards,.....) The fan base reacted to many but not all changes negatively. This one is just over the top greedy and unjustified. The players have a right to speak their mind here. Please don't knock them or attack them for doing so.

Maybe thise might be "minor" adjustments to pre 160 or maybe even pre 300 cp characters but trust me these are HUGE adjustments to character who are at end game.
No end game player worth their salt is going to be freaking out until they get on PTS and see what the changes mean in real numbers. Then 99% of them will just race change to the appropriate race for their class & build.

For us investing time can be a challenge and to force these people of the segment to redo their characters is a travesty to the whole genre of mmorpgs. I've played quite a few and I have to tell ya this is one of the most screwed up changes I've ever heard of, or OH I REMEMBER, I think they tried this on Lineage 2 at the END OF THEIR GAME CYCLE...so is ESO at the end of their game cycle to do something this drastic then hmm?

I race changed my mag sorc FROM breton to altmer, because end game. I'll use the free race change token to change him back most likely.
Remember shields having a 1 second cast time? It didn't go live. Plenty of things change or are adjusted in PTS.
These are not drastic changes. 99% of the end game community are not freaking out, they are crunching the numbers and looking at the options and waiting for the PTS so they can get some real data.
I find it ironic that you're calling ME toxic when you're the one panicking on the forums and claiming the game is dead because you logged in and thought there seemed to be less people around than you expected even though it was off peak time, the middle of the week and an event had just ended.3 -
