    Not sure if version number issue people are reporting has any links but as I mentioned in a previous post the version number on login hasn't changed since I started early access even after 1.01

    It is not user client based so repair wont do a fig!

    That thread was posted four or five days ago, I'd love an update on the progress of that investigation.

    I find it very curious that so many people have only now started to have the issue (and also find it curiously pleasing that I now feel less alone - sorry haha).

    I have unknown error when I try to load my char in Auridon but when I try to load any other char not in this map I have success. Anyone can confirm is playing in Auridon now?

    Repair didn't change anything. Seems like a server side problem from the symptoms of when people get the error to me.

    Cant leave starter dungeon, disconnects me out to login screen again with "unknown error". Have verified and repaired, its a completely new install from this morning, I did not participate in the beta so this is the launch client.

    Can login without problem and most of the time load a character.
    When I zone I get kicked with the unknown error. Zoning into Shadowfen from public instance.

    My game crashed while in the 'Coral Heart Chamber'. Now when I try to load in my character I get a 'unknown error has occured'. Its been like this for over 2 hours now.

    I just got a message on the UI saying I joined my own guild. Which is nice! Just thought you should know. I am in the game obviously.

    I tried to login to my non-Auridon Toons and still got the error.

    Yeah I was curious about that myself.
    It seems that the launcher cant handle live patching.

    If I leave the patcher running when I am not playing, either open or minimized, and there is a patch while its running, I get an error saying something about the game not patching properly.
    I dont remember what it says, and it only occurs once after a patch, closing and restarting the launcher does not help, and checking for updates dont help.

    Regardless of what I do the launcher think I am good to go despite the fact that I'm missing the latest patch.
    And I'm willing to bet that is where the real issue are.

    The server runs a newer version than your client, and your launcher/patcher thinks you already have the latest version and will not update the game to the new version.

    My launcher keeps getting stuck on initializing. My main character won't login, load keeps terminating with the "unknown error". I did already run a repair and no errors were found? I hope we will be credited with extra time for this fiasco.

    I found that it was happening whenever I was moving between zones or into a dungeon, and by turning off all my add-ons I was able to stop the problem, so I was in the process of slowly adding them back on one at a time to see which one it was, and got as far as FTC working, but then got caught up in something else, decided I need to do some inventory taking with all my alts and now am stuck at the requesting character load - so I'm going to kill the app, repair and see if I can get back in.

    But I have to say I am not that impressed with this patch, it seems to have created more problems to my game play than just a few spawning issues with quests that it looks like it was fixing... anyhoots hope any of the above helps you track down something

    Same issues on my end. Can't log in with my current characters. Created a character and it brought me in. Logged out to see if others would work; they didn't. Tried to log in with the new character and it didn't work. Tried creating a new character to join game, but it didn't work.

    I think I'm just going to cry - didn't leave my character in the Salted Wings Tavern - just a dungeon :(

    My poor character is probably going through a co-dependency break down. He's been rejected for the last two days with no attention... I'll be lucky if I have any jewels left to raise myself when I get back into the game... Dang Emo Characters.. lol

    It appears they fixed it or I'm extremely lucky to avoid error zoning out 2 times.

    Same and loading time takes forever if your character is in cyrodiil.

    The error did happen after suddenly everyone around me did not move at all, that was in a battle with lots of people. I was the only one moving around and maybe 50+ players were just standing around without any movement.

    I really wish I could experience the in-game bugs, but instead I'm staring at loading screens 95% of the time because it's logging me out every two minutes...

    And this has been the majority of my time from day one. There's no consistency to when the game actually lets me stay in.
