    Lol it's funny that all of you think you have it bad. I literally haven't been able to play for five consecutive seconds since launch. I payed $80 for the Imperial Edition and five day early access. I still don't have a weapon.

    I seem to have these errors every time I try to exit a dungeon for some reason. Now I'm stuck inside one of them and can't get out. There is the possiblilty to Wayshrine out but that costs gold. >.<

    Same here tried to use wayshrine but get same problem stuck in dungeon. :(

    Been playing since november and only now after this latest patch I got this unknow error when trying to enter/leave a dungeon.

    Resetting network works for me.
    Edit: Forgot to mention that it still gives that Unknown error when trying to zone, it only allows to log in and play in that area.

    Update: by following the following steps, i appear to have resolved this issue for the time being. i've been logged in for about 5 minutes, and no unknown errors yet

    Run: cmd.exe
    >ipconfig /release
    >ipconfig /renew

    NOTE: I do not work for Bethesda, and I am not recommending that you follow these steps. I am simply telling you how I resolved this issue. If you follow these steps, you assume all liability associated with messing with your IP.

    I still get the "We haven't a clue what we did wrong to mess up your gaming experience after you spent 80 bucks and we've preemptively put an authorization on your credit card for the first month's subscription, even though you get 30 days free." error when I try to actually do anything in game. I can actually get in about 5 out of 10 times, but then when I do anything. I mean anything, I get the above mentioned error. I have sent the docs requested by support and have yet to get any response. FML.

    Yes, but I'm on the NA server.

    Let me edit to add:
    I have been in some ROUGH launches. City of Heroes/Villains they couldn't get the launcher to update the files correctly which caused a lot of the beta testers the inability to even sign into the game, let alone the new players.
    Champions Online.. The installer was installing the files in the wrong place.

    Both times I had tech support in either IRC chat, on the phone or active in email with me trying to actually find a work around to get me working. The blanket silence or the canned responses from the support email/lack of calls back, etc is the main problem here. ESO hasn't communicated anything that i've seen. They released info on Craghorn and put a small patch in place, but when they have an issue that has over 200 posts with players with the issue, it is time for them to go on the offensive and let us know what they are doing. An email says and I quote "Jonathan" You are not the first person to encounter this error. In fact, I see this after about 30 minutes of play. We're not sure what is causing this at the moment, but we're searching very hard for the cause and solution. I'm sorry but that's just a bit to vague. I would like to know what exactly they are looking for. When I send them files it would be nice to get an acknowledgement that I took time out of my day, which is admittedly waiting for them to get their act together before work, to send them files to help them fix THEIR PROBLEM. I run several games on this Mac and I don't have any problems with any. Heck Warcrack plays just fine, with over 40 add-ons installed on the highest graphic settings.

    All through Early Access I had not one problem, other than "Mundus Stones not responding" and "Horse Dismounts" and both of those are acceptable issues that doesn't impact my playing beyond a minor annoyance. I can't even play right now.

    Ah. They need to restart the NA server too then I suspect. Have you logged it as a support call?

    2 of them over the last 2 days and no response other than an email asking for files, which was replied to in less than 5 minutes.

    Okay, cool. Well, sit tight. You won't be alone. My guess is they restarted the EU server as a test to see if it resolved the problem, and now have to plan restarting NA server. I would also guess they won't want to restart NA during business day today, as people here will moan.

    Sitting tight is all I can do however every day is just one more strike. 80+15 and I don't even get to play my 30 days... So far it's 3 days out of 30 down.

    It's a pretty broken situation for you, I agree. Hopefully they fix it, when they do I would ask for them to push back your subscription period for XYZ days you've been unable to play.

    It means I dc with the unknown error so frequently that over the past week, I'm still stuck in the Wailing Prison, right after you get out of the cell.

    and I figured I had it bad with my main char on lvl 11 with constant disc unknown errors. 3 days early access.. I play until I get so pissed at all disconnects I have to leave computer, rinse and repeat each day. Many have it far worse then me it seems, feel for yeh!

    I'm getting this Unknown error about almost every 2-5 minutes. It's ridiculous, can't play the game at all. I've run the Repair/Diagnostics and everything seems fine on my end. I have to re-log-in every few minutes, it's pretty frustrating!

    And from reading the forums you do NOT want to deplete your gold reserves and have a guildmate give you any, unless you want the BANNED welcome mat rolled out.

    Same here, I cannot log-in any longer, just get to character selection screen, click play, then "unknown error"

    I have repaired the launcher, and re-set the IP address. but no luck

    What to do now ?

    Just stare at my character on the log-in page for a bit I suppose

    Well got from Wailing Prison to Stonefalls but now if I try to enter another area I get "Unknown error" and boom back to the character loading wait

    If anyone is experiencing this issue. I may have discovered a workaround, after another frustrating day, I decided to see if this was character specific.

    I created a new character and they were unaffected by the issue, I then hit 'Log Out' and swapped to my previous character whom is now unaffected by this issue.

    This may be down to fortutous timing, but it may also help others. So give it a try if you're affected by the issue described above.
