And they made us take out a subscription plan for this ***? If it doesn't improve pretty darn quickly my plan will be cancelled as fast as it was set up.
Same problem here.
They said they were patching before schedule to help people who where stuck with bugged quests. Now at least everyone is even, stuck before login

I've had this problem since beta but after launch it worked but now after this patch i have problems to enter ruins, mines etc. sometimes it let's me enter them and mostly when it is loading them i get this "an unknown error has occurred"
Yup can confirm EU server is very much broken atm. Entering/exiting dungeons: Kicked out with an "unknown Error Occurred" And no you cannot log that character again, unless you wish to see that Unknown Error a lot and get to know it on a personal and intimate level. Guilds are gone, some people are missing their entire friend list as well. Porting to players or Wayshrines; O HAI UNKNOWN ERROR nice to see you! Sometimes Unknown Error is replaced with its evil twin: Unauthorized Computer! Access code is required. An Access code you will not get within the 10 minutes you should get it ^^
Same problem, not getting beyond char selection. Eu Server.
This is lame. Looks like it's not worth the money spend. First you patch in prime time, which is idiotic and then your patch breaks is junk. Frustrating, annoying and so on. Since this is your first online game, I fear this will be ALOT worse then all the blizzard server downs. It will come continously and probably take half a year till you guys keep that thing stable.
I'm also receiving this error on the North American cluster. I log in, and select my character. Then in game in Auridon, people and horses barely move and jitter, and I'm unable to perform non-client actions, sprinting, mounting, dismounting, zoning, ETC.
Patch today was "wonderful". Now constantly throws at the login screen and when you re trying to enter either gives an unknown error or a timeout connection. And I thought only companies like Mail.ru able to create such ridiculous bugs, but is curved hands are the same everywhere...
Just sent a tweet to @ZOS_JessicaFolsom and will name drop here in the hope this thread will gather some Developer/GM attention as it seems to be a rather large issue after today's patch.

Thank you Zenimax for patching in prime time and crashing the game with it. Certainly worth its money. Why don't you do the next patch from friday till sunday? Or maybe directly turn the servers off, give no support and cash in the 13 €???
I've now been upgrade from an Unknown Error to Error 103. Printscreen doesn't function at the login prompt, but something about permissions, and flying fish covered in custard...
We're investigating this alongside the issue with friends lists and guilds impacting some people on the European megaserver.
"Unknown Error" is a bit of a catch-all error message, so there aren't specific troubleshooting steps, but could those of you getting this issue try closing completely out of the client, running a repair, and logging back in?
@Percieman and @Scintilla
I don't think the game version on the log-in screen actually represents the version you're running, mine was listing 1.0.0.99 after the 1.01 patch as well.
I could be wrong about this but I am pretty sure Zenimax just haven't been updating that string of text for the past two updates.
