It kicked me out with "an unknown error has occured" message and now, it is almost an hour, and i am still geting this message. Can't load into game. Character selection screens works fine, but then... "an unknown error has occured"

it works again for me now,

I had to reconfirm my computer IP with the code sended to my mail and when I used the code it worked again!

This is ***, I dont really want to start swearing on the forums but *** it. Early access was cut short for EU players while you prepped it nicely for the US, now your sat playing with each other on the US Servers doing 'maintenance' while the EU servers are ***. You must be doing something different on their server, if you know the patch you applied on EU is bad, why would you continue to apply the same patch to the US servers? So lets see how many problems the US doesnt run into. So out of the week or so the game has been available, 3 of those days have been cut short in prime EU times due to when you decide to update the game to please the US. Well worth the £50 ontop of the monthly fee, might as well of bought a gold toilet, the money would've received the same amount of ***.

I've been getting this error for a bit this evening when trying to log in.. I get to the char select screen and loading, only to be dumped back to the login screen with an unknown error....

Yeah im getting this aswell (EU). Had to relog and now im getting "unknown error" after hitting play on character screen > loading > kicked to login with "Error Unknown".

Same here. Also getting the authorization code thingy, I do get the email (it only takes like 10 minutes, quite fast actually if you compare it to something like... you know, ordinary mail.)

Once I got the email, I got the unknown error again. Hooray!

This is such an awesome update you did... Can't log on my character, when I can it takes so long and afterwards when I try to get out of instance - bam, "Unknown Error". Keep up the "good work".

I finally managed to log in and and play for a while without getting the error, I almost thought it's fine now, but after 15mins the error came up and I can't login with my character again. So far that wasn't a good patch, it caused even more trouble.

Every time I need to zone in or out of an instance (eg in and out of The Harborage) I get booted back to the login screen with the message "an unknown error has occured". I can log back into the game and try again. Sometimes it crashes out again, sometimes it works.

Id like to thank the elderscrollsonline for giving me such an enjoyable afternoon/evening of none gaming , I really needed this after a day at work . Thanks for the login problems and thanks for the unknown errors over and over again . I had a great time tonight but alas I have to go to bed to start work at 5am yay . To top it all Im going to lose another day of my first 30 . Funny how the game was working better before you updated at leased i could log on for more than a min before unknown error and having to log in again as my typing skills needed the practice .

Just a note In the UK/Europe 3-4pm is almost peek time you really need to work on when you do these updates as if this dose keep happening i and many others will just find new games to play .
Would it not be better to get this gamy working before you start advertising updated content as if we can't play the game how are we ever going to play it ..

So far today I got to play 5 minutes. Logged in with my char after waiting hours. Killed Fateslayer and got DCed, had to put in a code to verify the pc I've been playing with since beta and then can't log back in.... unknown error.
Zenimax must be really out to make sure people don't play this game.

I haven't been able to log in since before the patch.

Firstly I got issues with the codes being not accepted.
Then my account got locked.
Then I get "unknown errors" or "login timeouts".

That's a nights playtime down the drain.
