Evenly matched teams;making full tank teams role incompatible in BG

I know lying about role is an issue and they would just queue up as dps and healer ,even if they tank
But I do hope at some point the finder will gain AI good enough to detect a full group
of tanks and prevent them of queueing up together.

Some BGs are evenly matched and it is really exciting till the very end as outcome is unsure
But the finder failing to evenly match groups also ruins the exciting part of BGs
Its like matching a full team of heavy weight boxers against lightweight yoga practicers
Ofcourse people will do whatever is easiest to win.But in this case its no longer being good sports.
So I hope one day the finder will be smart / refined enough to see which teams vs other teams are a challenging good match
Maybe by analyzing all the players in that group ,determining their role automatically based on skills slotted ,hp resistance etc

Just make it so not more than one person with more than 25k health can be in a group at a time lol.

Wait, the role you pick for dungeon has a meaning in BG? Are you sure?
What should i do then if i am not quite a tank but definitely not a dps?

That might be the least complicated solution indeed

Or make stuns 200 procent more effective on tanks or something

There are both issues with group roles in dungeons and bg.
In dungeons people often simply lie about their role,
which is especially an issue in vet dungeons and less noticable in normals.

In Bgs it results in different issue,as the finder fails to assemble teams that are pretty evenly matched
You can find vids on youtube where not even a whole zerg can take down 1 tank
in cyrodiil.Imagine a full team of 4 of those in bgs.
How will a dps team or mixed team take down 4 of those tanks?if not even a zerg in cyrodiil can take down one of them?
And the few second stuns help nothing on them; they heal to max hp in a second.(i had situation where i kept stunning one of them and the whole team was bashing on that one ;didn't even loose half his hp and healed up in a sec)
A full heavy ultimate attack in their face does not even give them a scratch.
OR maybe when tanks are stunned,increase their damage received by 200 procent

some would say foul is fair,but might as well abandon bg when matched against such full tank teams.
There comes a point where its just pointless and unbalanced.
So thats why its important that the finder at least is able to evenly match players against each other

OR evenly match can also mean that the finder detects it on their hp and stats and simply match the full tank teams against other full tank teams.Though in current state the finder might not be able to.Been in a crazy king match where 2 tank teams were there endlessly in the middle
in our group some got killed as it was a mixed group

This is not about restrictions on builds .Its about matchup balance.
As full tank teams take all the fun out of bgs

I don't think the Battlegrounds groupfinder looks at your dungeon role as part of the MMR.

Now, the MMR needs improvement, but that's not really going to prevent premade groups from queuing together. It might, if improved along with a larger population for BGs, make it possible for random players to avoid premade groups if they want to.

Maybe the ability to swap to alts on respawn would offer a solution? As clearly MMR takes nothing into account
In comparison to other bg type of games, this one misses the ability to counter opponent groups compositions
& there is a reason full tank groups are "meta".
Lets say a tanky group composition with 1 healer totally destroys everyone in their path that isn't tanky,on death you could switch to your sniper in an attempt to finish off their healer.
But that probably wouldn't work in this game ,as tanks can selfheal sustain themselves enough,while dishing out enough damage to compete with dps chars that don't have those defences.
Having the same speeds and all.
Maybe that would be a solution,giving tanky setups a speed penalty?

Battlegrounds is getting really hard to enjoy. I probably won only two out of 10 or more matches last night. But it wasn't losing that bothered me, it was running into groups that approached us like we were dungeon mobs. They'd have a tank and then three bombers, the tank would constantly chain pull me into the AOE while the bombers would drop their meteors and whatever else they had. They destroy the other teams by a wide margin. It's not worth it to que solo anymore. There's no balance in Battlegrounds.

allowing a full premade to queue against pugs was a good idea
