ANOTHER tiny statue ???

I love the tiny statues, I need more clutter for my homes.

I love that ZOS is giving them to us as a collection item, so we can place them in each home.

Give me all the tiny statues, they are great, love 'em.

It's not entitlement. I'm a customer, and I have the right to voice concerns about the product I am continually paying for.

ZOS has continually eroded away at the value of the ESO+ sub. Any longtime subscriber can tell you this.

Yes you do have the right to complain. What you do not have a right to do is act like only your likes and dislikes should be considered. I know some players who delete the crown crates because they do not wish to participate in any way in how the crown crates work. I'm in a housing guild and many players in that guild are very happy with the statues. Me, I'm lucky that I like either and don't care what I get. I am an ESO+ member to support the game and anything I get for doing that is just gravy. It would probably be a good idea for ZoS to mix it up from time to time to keep as many people as they can happy.

The reason why most of the complainers are older players is because we had better stuffs compared to these junks.

Personally, I would take the 6 free gambling crates anytime because I still don't have most of its contents and even if I don't get the good stuffs via gambling, I can still convert them to gems that can buy me better stuffs but most importantly the freedom to choose.

The price of 1500 crowns in the xbox store is 14.99. Anything above and beyond that, that is included your subscription is gravy. Period

And just why do you think the rewards and extras in the subscription are always changing and usually not for the better - it's because people get on here and complain that what they got isn't good enough, that they deserve more or better. People complained and moaned about the crappy stuff that drops in the crown crates and that is probably why they pulled them. The sheer irony of this post happening during December is sad in of itself. In the words of my daughter's 1st grade teacher - "you get what you get, and you don't throw a fit"

That's ... not how it works at all.

These ESO+ furniture items are collectibles, once you "buy" it from the crown store, it becomes part of your collectibles tab. Meaning it takes up zero inventory slots. It also means you can only place it once per house, but that is offset by it always being free to use, and you can use it in as many houses you own as you like. For something that's more of a collectible piece such as this, I think it's the best solution. You'd rarely want to use these items more than once in a house anyway, and that way you don't have to continually buy them at traders, and have to juggle them around in your inventory.

Ah, thanks for letting me know! I didn't realize it was a collectible rather than just a regular item. So +1 for no bank space, still have the "when would I ever use it" conundrum. But it could go live with all the other collectible things I've acquired and will never use. lol

Do you have ESO+? If not, I could understand your confusion. For reference though, those free items are included in the ESO+ deals tab, a very specific tab, just for these new ESO+ deals. Some deals are free. Some are discounted. But they are all considered ESO+ deals.

Do you have ESO+? If not, I could understand your confusion. For reference though, those free items are included in the ESO+ deals tab, a very specific tab, just for these new ESO+ deals. Some deals are free. Some are discounted. But they are all considered ESO+ deals.

You don't need to have ESO+ to see that tab, and you don't need to see that tab to see the items listed - they're on the front page of the crown store along with everything else, even for non-subscribers.

Which makes sense. It'd be pretty terrible marketing to hide the promotional items until after you've paid for them.

Another good to know thing then @Danikat, thanks. I didn't realize non + members could see it (though why they can is definitely logical), though it does beg to question now why the other poster insists that the free statues are not part of the new ESO+ deals since it says so right there.

Perhaps you should read the news article then, about increasing the benefits of ESO+. These deals were added as extra incentive, just like additional crowns, to add value to a subscription. We're not paying extra to them but we are questioning whether they are achieving their intended purpose.

Yeah I read the news article back when it came out. I'm not denying that they are additional perks of being subscribed or that they are a part of eso+. What I am saying is that the subscription description does not specifically make any reference to getting free crown items - which I suspect leaves them the very viable option of eventually pulling the free goodies when they get sick and tired of hearing people constantly complain about them. My main point is that no one is paying any more for these perks than they did before they were added. I guess I just can't fathom why people can't just be grateful for what they get instead of comparing it the 'good ole days' and always holding their hands out and asking for more.

I agree with you 100%. But from the data mining... Its just going to be another statue each month. From the first one I thought we were just going to have to suffer through the 16 major Daedric princes before getting something different, which would be another 15 months. But the second one is Vivec? Means we'll probably have the Divines mixed in as well.

Yeah, I get it, their free. And yeah, some people will like these, some will even love them. But these seem a trivial free item compared to the free crates. And with the crates, at least we got gems which could then be used to buy the item we most liked out of an assortment of different stuff. And that's why it was the superior option... not everyone is going to like the same stuff so go with the path that lets you build up points until you can get the item you want.

Edit: And yeah, I also get "free" is not really free as its part of the ESO+ sub. Lets not miss the forest for the trees here.

While I don't personally care for statues, there are others that do. The craft bag and access to dlc's is enough to keep me subscribed and I'm perfectly happy with it. This other stuff is exactly as OP said, fluff. Not necessary but free. You don't have to take it. Theres so many other perks to being a subscriber that fussing over this seems kind of trivial.

I do like how they’ve tried to make the benefits of ESO + greater & they have.

However I get the op’s point, they made this big thing about the “free” rewards and the first 2 to come out of the box are just lazy, miniature versions of statues we could already have! And not even to a set theme! I mean a Daedric Prince & a Tribunal member? Would’ve been better if it was another prince tbh......unless they combine them and have a statue depicting Molags & Vivecs night of passion, that’s definitely a reward I want

They should have inverted the two things, statue of Mara and Vivec costume, that would have been intersting.

This way though it's good for me, I'm not even tempted to buy, I would have gladly spent crowns left on that Vivec costume (minus the shoulders @ZOS), the Mara one is another "my grandmother" style costume, her statuette would have been nice.

I love the tiny statues, reminds me of the collectible bobblehead from fallout. I am a bit confused though, are the statues replacing free crates? I love free crates too, I got a mount from the monthly free crates.
