Complaining about free stuff? Really? There are better things to complain about.. like lag or the broken dungeon finder, or heck how about all the people starving in the world..? Let's get some perspective please. Hash#Firstworldproblems

This forum is about ESO. If you want to tackle world hunger I'm sure there are forums for that as well. Also, if the prerequisite for obtaining something is to pay money first then it is not free.

They made it clear when they announced the free stuff that we shouldn't expect something every month. And the value of the cosmetic stuff is completely subjective. So the OP seems a bit too upset. Temper your expectations.

And crown crates? The freebies are exclusives. Crown crates would be suck a lazy reward.

I love the statuettes. Made a lore accurate Seemon 14 display out of the past 2. Thinking about a lore gallery for all the statues.

I love the little statues and I'm going to use the Mara costume on my healers. Im pleased with the ZoS choice of furnishings and costumes, this game isn't completely about combat.

I like them. They are awesome to have in houses for decor for placing on tables, desks and bookshelves

Aren't they collectibles? So you can have a million statues, but place very few. There will never be a chess set, nor close. Only the chance to remove functional collectibles in order to place the statues.

Am I wrong on the function of these? 100% useless in houses with assistants and chests already taking up the collecible slots, right?

People are happy with a statie that does nothing?

How does it enhance your game play experience?

That's what I'd like to see, useful items, not decorations.

Have you ever heard of playing housing?

    There's a whole sub-forum on it.

OK, you're not interested in it - but, some people like it.

You would probably have more success if you stuck to the "I don't like it." standpoint; rather than the "No one should like it." one.

Yeah, I guess so, but not all homes are full of those things.

Smaller houses might just have a couple of chests and/or a banker and a merchant in them and some inn rooms/apartments might not not even have that.

I haven't even put all of my chests in the Alinor Townhouse, because it would spoil the decor to have too many of them.

If I need them, I have other houses with them all.

Actually, this is partly why I would like it if you could customise the look of the chests and/or combine them all into one; or, I guess, two?

    One large and one small.

It's also why I wanted the home storage to be a single (fairly compact) wall safe, in the first place.

The space available in it could have been unlocked and expanded, bit by bit.

But, the devs seem to be obsessed with us ending up with multiple, generally fairly unattractive and purely functional, items.

Attunable crafting stations being the worst example of that.

They could have just given us one attunable crafting station, for each profession and let us pay to add sets to it, one by one.

With the price of the ability to add a new set being the same price as the cost of a new attunable station, currently.

By the way, according to this thread, they seem to spilt the collectibles into different categories:

So, you would, presumably, have room for your assistants, your chests and a couple of statuettes, even in a small home (with ESO+)?

Assuming they fall under the chests/trophy/bust category.
