In my experience those that are fairly week players are the ones who toss out the insults. If they were strong players nothing would matter other than a player being a jerk.

I have kicked a few players for being jerks. lol, the hate whispers are funny.

I, uh, kicked someone the other day when we were 3/4 through the dungeon for fun. I literally had 3 friends and the guy was a dps and was doing perfectly fine and I told my friends ‘hey you know what would be fun? If we kick this guy for the hell of it’.

I'm a returning player and I've been running / tanking quite a bit of Vet dungeons lately (always using party finder because I don't know anyone in-game) i.e. daily pledges, random vet daily for undaunted supplies. I have about ~130 CP's since I haven't played since CP's were first introduced a year and a half-ish ago; I crafted myself a set of 5/5 Hist Bark and 4/5 Shalidor's Curse.

Anyways, more often lately I will join a group and sometimes it feels like IMMEDIATELY I get kicked before I can even enter the dungeon. It's been happening often enough that I screenshot the names of the group members so I can inquire why, I had someone tell me yesterday "i don't want to #$&* around with low CP players" honestly I reported him for harassment because the reason was BS and it locks me out of party finder for 15 minutes.

I would do /zone but now I'm worried I'll never get picked up because of my "low CP" even though I've been tanking Vet bosses just fine and have tanked a few of the HM Vet bosses (I think that's what they're called now, the one where people read that scroll before the fight). But these people just judge me based on CP without seeing me in action. I also run with really nice "high CP" people (luckily more often than the rude people) who are real friendly.

I just think there needs to be some kind of punishment for people that knee-jerk instant kick people like that because of the amount of CP they have. Maybe I'm part of some crazy minority here but last I checked ESO characters aren't just "born" with 500 CP when an account is made. I guess I'm just supposed to stay out of anything content related until I have 1000 CP's as to not ruffle the feathers of these big-shot players.

Sorry for the rant, and to the nice players with or without high CP that have dungeon crawled with me, thank you.

I agree with pretty much everything you've said. I've made several threads about this myself, in fact.

One solution would be to hide CP from other players. That's something I support.

I also agree players who abuse the kick function should be punished. Perhaps take away their access to kick other players if they are found to be abusing it. That would be a just punishment.

Self-entitled tanks are the worse at this practice. A lot of them will immediately try to kick a low CP player - then leave the dungeon if they don't get their way. It's pretty funny, but in a bad sort of way. This happened to me only yesterday in fact while doing Banished Cells 1. Banished Cells 1....

You do not need high CP to do Banished Cells 1. We just went on to 3 man it until another tank showed up toward the end.

Tanks are supposed to be entitled. Especially in boring AF low end /mid level content like non dlc vet dungeon, old dlc dungeons, crag vet trials.

    Just adding a question:

What else are tanks expected to be than self-entitled?

Doing the f*in tank job in a realm of tank scarcity definitely entitles them. Therefore, whoever dislikes random self-entitled tanks: Feel free to tank and entitle yourself.

Necro thread but relevant at the minute with event going on.
I've carried people who are terrible at this game and I've been carried also when I was levelling new characters.
This event has made me realise more than ever that even though some players have high CP they really don't know how to play the game effectively, I get some play for fun or RP but slowing players down who want to get this crap, lazy, bugged content done quickly because they have done it thousands of times is annoying,so bad players get kicked and then moan because they got kicked.
If you play effectively and don't be a drag you wont get kicked so approach event content with that attitude and you good.
I have no pity for those getting kicked because they dps with a bow light attack and spam crystal blast as if its the only skill available.

LOL. Tanks are not supposed to be entitled. If they are in totally random group one must wonder why no one wants to run with them. Most decent tanks get plenty of opportunity and tend to avoid GF because of bad DPS.

So you don’t learn mechanics and still want to get carried. On top of that, want another guy who doesn’t learn either to be carried at same time. Nice trolling, you got that guy pretty mad.

    Carried?
I didn't have any friends with me. This was a random dungeon, I didn't select 'Ruins of Mazzatun'
The guy who posted that was CP300+, I'm a CP440 Sorcerer DPS.

If you queue for a Veteran Dungeon and have not at least reached the gear cap of 160CP you are most likely going to be kicked. They honestly shouldn't unlock Vet content for sub-160CP players.

DLC's start at 300. You're saying Vet content shouldn't be unlocked at Vet level.

If you can clear it, you should be allowed to do it, and most Vet content doesn't magically see some ability increase in 150 CP's. Most don't bother until hitting 160, but they certainly are afforded the option.

Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

Yesterday i queued with my raidpartner for vhom (i was tank my mate was heal)
We are both far over cp810 and we get one cp 290 and one cp480
We didnt care about it cuz sometimes low cp player are really decent groupmates and cp isnt skill
So we just started with the dungeon as usual and after like 5 min we reached the first boss and i noticed while im tanking i got 6k dps and its 30% of the whole group dmg....
I told my mate that this is disgusting af and he said he got 7k dps while he keeps the 2 milkchilds alive
So the whole group got 20k dps and 13k from it comes from tank and heal
    7k comes from 2 dds....
I told the 2 fake dds if they cant deal dmg they shouldnt queue for vet dungeons
After that we just kicked them out
And then ppl keeps crying about max cp player are elitists or toxic XD

I only queue under the notion that I could potentially up carrying. Thats the way it is.

    Hello everyone,

This post is to let you know that we've felt it necessary to put this thread down, as it seemed to have died some time ago. At this time we'd like to try and keep Draugr threads from roaming around front page, pushing down newer and more lively threads.
