Dungeon Finder not working!!!

Doesn't work for me.
2/3 for me solo queuing. A friend did a few before primetime and it worked, but later last night his queue was borked. Even tried the 'queue while everyone is in the same house trick', did not work.
Edit: I should add that in the first solo queue that worked our tank dropped out for whatever reason and the group finder would not find us a replacement. Wasn't a big deal, but it was still buggy.Edited by SpacemanSpiff1 on November 30, 2018 2:26PM0 -
Fleshreaper✭✭✭✭✭I had two characters que with no problem. The other two had problems, one character was in combat when the que popped. The other was deconning stuff when the que popped. Both times I logged out, logged back in and then made sure I was not in combat or interacting with anything. Worked just fine then. Appears to me to be an issue with interacting with something when the que pops.

DF worked fine, only took a minute (I was tank, with a healer). Did the one in North Alikr Desert (Crypt of Hearts I think). Me & buddy hadn't done the dungeon before. Didn't get any quest, we seemed to have issues with this later, one player left as a result. And the DF successfully teleported a replacement in! But eventually we managed to finish the dungeon, even though neither me nor my buddy ever got a quest there. I wonder if we experienced a bug with CoH, and whether or not the bug was tied to the DF.
I have another hypothesis: perhaps players' ping time has something to do with the success of the DF. Keeping in mind ping times can spike. My ping times are usually around 115, but my buddy is English and his ping time is more like 250. I was the group leader.Edited by HalloweenWeed on November 30, 2018 2:18PM0 -

I know that matchmaking is not a simple problem to solve, but could you at least consider changing how full pre-made groups are handled, so they don't go through the queue and get blocked by this bug? Just to clarify for you everyone else - and believe me you're not I'm apparent the only one who misread your comment.
You do NOT have to do a random via the group finder to get your event tickets. Event tickets are awarded for killing the final boss in any group dungeon regardless of how you enter the dungeon.
If you want to walk in and solo a dungeon... you'll get tickets.
If you make a pre-made group and wayshrine directly to the dungeon... you'll get tickets.
And yes, if you queue via group finder for a random dungeon... you'll also get tickets that way.
However the group finder for random dungeons is only required if you want the event mysterious reward box not, I repeat, not required for event tickets.

✭yesterday i spent 6 hours in a complete group waiting for a random dungeon. we were able to access 1 dungeon.
today we are again trying since about 2 hours ago, stopped on a character home, doing nothing but wait for a stupid random dungeon.
please cancel this stupid event, reward all players with a few Mysterious Reward Boxes and forget this thing.
most events are a cancer to this game, but this one beats them all.6 -

yurimodin✭✭✭my guess is that since a 4 man dungeon is an instanced event the servers can only handle x number of instances(dungeons) simultaneously. Once those fill up the glitch happens and everyone gets to play "spam the F key" until an instance opens up.1

chaz✭✭✭✭If it's happening at prime time, then again, it's connection issue with latency. The lines are too clogged , congested with a massive amount of players doing the same thing. Akamai seems to be the issue. If they fixed their crap we could game again, but they won't because they are not even aware there is a problem because the subscriber to the service, Zenimax, isn't even reaching out to them.

✭✭✭Well, I know better than to get too anxious on first day of event, ESPECIALLY this event, but day 2, 57 minute queue, group formed 4 times, then player declined pop up, moved to front, rinse, repeat.
9:30 MST, mid morning, PC/NA.
No boxes for me this event. May not get any tickets either. Was soloing FG1 and lag made it a b****. Due to my job I sometimes only have a hour or two to play.
Sad Zo$ keeps making "New Content and Events" more and more a "Hook & Bait" to make you grind daily, and in this case for hours.
And to think about doing it on 6+ toons??? Shivers.....
