This is what happens when you randomly buy things and click accept before reading.

So its some how his fault that Gamestop has no Timecards, you people disgust me.
The 30 days is dependent on setting up a subscription plan. It is in the addition requirements.
the good news is that your 30 days is not being wasted as it does not start until you meet the requirement.

You keep tossing that quote around, but haven't read it apparently, because it doesn't mention having to pay anything in advance, any kind of pre-authorization, or actually SIGNING UP for anything. Selecting a preference is essentially meaningless, it's so vague.

I really don't understand why people are gathering the pitchforks over pre-authorization. It's a charge that is quickly dropped. And, if you don't have 15$ for a pre-auth, maybe you shouldn't be playing a subscription MMO, or any game for that matter.

Please, tell me how to organize my life.
I am all ears, taking notes and simply basking in you`r grand plan you have for all those that seem to have financial issues when trying to activate this game.
Or should I go back to flipping burgers and "get another job hippy" ?
If you stop and read
"The 30 days of unlimited game play begins when you select your preferred subscription plan on store.elderscrollsonline.com."
I prefer to pay with GTC.
At this point you expect the system will say, very well Sir. Please enjoy your time in Tamriel. When your initial 30 days pass, you will be required to enter GTC code. Until that day please enjoy your time with us as we will enjoy with you.
Alas system says, you need 13€. If you do not have 13€ disposable please come back when you acquire more money.

Again you should have read up on this payment model that has been around for more than a decade before buying and then complaining.

I have the money for it, I don't have it in an account, I am a college student who works for tips. I get paid in cash and since my tips are actually pretty good as far as tips go my pay checks are less than $100 after taxes on minimum wage so I cash them verse depositing them. I don't have a credit card because, well ... do I need more debt beyond what I am forced to go into for a decent education? No.Midgardian wrote: »otomodachi wrote: »Oblongship wrote: »The 30 days is dependent on setting up a subscription plan. It is in the addition requirements.

It is a pre-auth to make sure the card is valid. After the pre-auth period that is set by the issuing company, the money will be put back on the card. Some use a $1.00, some do the full amount. Heck some pre-pay at the gas pumps pre-auth a $100 on your card even if you are not going to put in that much.
Its not about to make sure of validation my card. They want more money. I was trying to connect my visa card with 0 balance, and it sais me "the transaction was not authorized" lol. They need yet 12 euro, for letting me play my prepayed included 30 days game time. BULLS***T!!! YOu worst than drug dealers on my neighborhood. It is a pre-auth to make sure the card is valid.
