My imperial armor is very....green

I crafted my own dwarven gear and converted it to imperial style...it looks very cool but for some reason its like a dark green. Is this because its dwarven? Which armor is like the one advertised on the imperial edition?

I noticed my Imp gloves being very green, I'm pretty sure it's a texture error... it should be a dark reddish colour. you can right click and report item.

I also have the same problem. I have an imperial and any heavy armor I put on starting from lvl 33ish to current lvl 38 has been GREEN in armor tint, and its an ugly green too, it can be craft/buy/quest items. It sucks, I don't want to be the green knight. This is defiantly a bug and I have gone about reporting it as so on each armor piece I put on.

Well, what color was the armor before you switched it to imperial? I had a green robe and when I switched it to imperial it was still the same green color as it was when I received it.

Same The armor is put on and looks green, even converting it still leave it as green, but the funny thing is if my friend puts the same thing on, shes a high elf, its not green. Also the picture of the item does not show it as green, but as the nice shiny silver it should be.

They used too much copper in the alloy.

All joking aside, I'm a little disappointed in the 'transmute' we ended up with, when the promotional material for the Imperial Edition clearly states 'gain new crafting styles', not 'transform your armor to look like this'.

I don't get any green in my imperial armor, using medium armor. Could it depend on alliances having different colours? Since I'm playing in dominion and the armor is very bright.

Or is it "glitched" green, obvious bug? Can you show a picture?

Yup that's about the theme going on my characters armor. It's a nasty green and it's on every part of heavy armor. It could be a faction problem. I am on dagger fall, how about the rest of you?

I think it could be because of the faction, since it doesn't look "glitched" if you know what I mean. Looks pretty bad-ass to me, but I understand that some might not like it. As I said I'm on dominion, and my medium armor gets very bright, and I think, looking from the character creation the "veteran" armor was yellow, so it might have to do with factions, however I'm not sure. If you go to the character creation and just try picking imperial, selecting veteran armor (or the one you want to try), then looking if there's a color difference between the factions, might answer your question.

I can't look at the moment, but I want to think my medium armor on the Nightblade I've been working on didn't have that green hue when transformed.

However, I seem to recall that quite a bit of the light armor I transformed on the Sorc did have a green hue. I thought at the time it was because the crafted jute gear was already greenish to begin with.a

I haven't tried yet on my DK or Temp in heavy armor, so I don't know if I've got the same issue on them or not. I'll check tomorrow, if my IE gets here.

I'm on the Ebonheart Pact.
I am a DK, with 20 points in Stamina and 11 on Health, 2 on Magic. Could that be part of it?

I doubt stats have anything to do with it. I think it's just a mess up on the color, a little green edging or something is ok, but full green looks lazy and bad so I doubt it was suppose to look like this. Also to answer someone else's question. When I look at the veteran armor it's silver and gold with red gems, no green anywhere on that gear preview.

I think it's got to do with the material

Dwarven has a green apperance
Ebony has a golden appearance
the Veteran rank 1 has a silver appearance

I was expecting it to look like the gear advertised, i guess its like rank 10 gear

How did you get the "Limited Edition Imperial Leprechaun Armor"? Sorry, really funny. Anyway, could the traits you put on the armor effect the color-red stone=red armor etc.

Well documented Padhraigh, it was not like this in beta and now it looks horrible in live. I would find it hard to believe they wanted this awful look. As for the enchantments making it this color I doubt that's why. Iv had armor without any enchantments and with them. They all look green atm.

This green armour thing happened to me as well. Converted my level 10 jute armour into Imperial and it turned into a moss colour, when I know that when I did it last week, it was a Red/Cream

Odd so this seems to be affecting people differently, some for crafted, some for converting to imperial and some people just have all heavy armor turning green.
