If ZOS wanted you to keep aim at all times they would have needed to increase the hitbox, because its way too damn small.Hope this is true you have to aim, maybe it's like this in more abilities, or is it just cast time? Snipe having to aim sounds so good. I use Dizzy with some classes and am looking forward to the challenge if it was intended.
That is because radiant is a true single target lock-on channel. Resto and lightning heavy attacks also work fine. But dizzy, and also snipe are skills with a cast time, that only hit when the cast time is over. Dizzyswing mentality : ''An enemy, time to get close! I want to kill him so i take the risk of moving towards the enemy and put myself in a position where i can be damaged and seen by the enemy. If i can connect my dizzy (which isnt easy) i can do high damage! My opponent can however counter me by avoiding the hit and be able to fight back.''
Snipe mentality : ''Hey look, someone is fighting over there! Hmm, my enemy is outnumbered by multiple of my team but i can help from 48m away without an option to be countered. SNIPE SNIPE SNIPE SNIPE.. oh no, he hasnt died and moves towards me. Time to run/cloak away and try again from safety (48m). This is dangerous.. i wish there was a wall i could stand on.''
People who spam dizzy are funny, people who spam snipe are horrible people who just want to ruin other people their experience. Snipe really promotes a cancerous playstyle

I would think you should know better that snipe is not even very strong. It's easy to dodge or break los. I mean, it's better than dizzy but that's not really saying much.
There's a lot of tears about snipe in this thread. Wonder how long before the tears start flowing for double infused DW twin slashes.
I read in the templar discord that the devs are looking into it. The above video has also been sent to them. So let's hope that they will fix this asap.
