Pumpkin Spectre and Scarecrow

I have both of these polymorphs, they are pretty awesome, but I find there are increasing numbers of people, some of my friends included, that are getting really frustrated because of the obsolete and outdated marketing ploy of only making things available for 2 days. My friend was gonna buy the Scarecrow but he refused to buy it because it was only a limited time offer... and chances are you guys may bring it back next year but he will refuse to give you money again because you'll probably make it limited again. You can't make much money off something like this because its not in the store for people to buy, and people do want it! Maybe make it rotating stock for Halloween, and make it available for ALL OF OCTOBER??? Or a daily reward for October, that would be appropriate?

I agree, personally, I think they brought it out too soon. I been debating buying more crowns (which I never do) because in 14 days I have a renew coming up and will give me enough to buy at that time. Not a whale and on a fixed budget every month.

I have to agree here. Perhaps it could be in the store all year long, but have a sale on it during October or at the very least, give us more than just a few days to get it. I may be crazy enough to log in for multiple hours every day, but I'm also aware that many players don't play that way. They may be on a couple days a week and sometimes may skip weeks at a time. They could very easily miss offers like these that seem to come up weekly these days.

Someone in the marketing department must have a large motivational poster on their wall that reads,

"LIMITED TIME OFFERS = MASSIVE CASH"

and they're taking that to heart.

In the long run this only hurts Zos, so at least be content with that.. Not every customer has money at whim so the company is literally shooting itself in the foot so to speak business wise.

These polymorphs have returned every single year since 2015. They've been part of rotating stock for years, and they're fairly low priority at this point.

And this year you don't even have to spend your own crowns on them.

Some of October's usual suspects like the Zombie Horse and and Owl/Cat masks wound up in the Hollowjack Crate season so that there was enough space to schedule both old and new seasonal items this month. It's entirely likely that either the Pumpkin, Scarecrow, or both polys will wind up in Crate Season #12 (we're currently on #8).

And then your friend will probably refuse to get the Scarecrow because it's in a crate.

It's all quite predictable at this point.

Nah, he'll probably get the Scarecrow if its in a crate. But yeah rotating stock is better than once off limited time offer (don't get me started on those damn houses like Tel Galen), it seems rediculous to have 2 DAYS to get it though.

I also support the idea that all items should stay in store forever and available at any time. But it's really unlikely based on store history, so if you like some item, I don't understand why you refuse to buy it even if it's limited time offer

I bought Pumpkin spectre previous year and hesitated to buy Scarecrow back then. This year Scarecrow was available for 4 days (1th - 4th of October), I was waiting and planning for it whole year, and I was very glad to finally buy it this time. I love the voice of this polymorph, and the fact that it is limited time offer doesn't matter at all, except that I had to wait for so long to get it

I can't imagine not buying it just cause it's not available during whole year.

Well, refusing to buy it essentially means you're making a stand against backwards and obsolete marketing ploys. But yeah it does mean you miss out. I myself snatched up the Pumpkin and Scarecrow last year regardless, because even though I hate the fomo schemes they come up with, I decided to bite the bullet and get them because I really did want them and I got some extra money so I wasn't hurting my account.
