Drakelowe is a home keep and an AP boost keep.now. And AD having it gives them faster access to Farragut, Arrius and Kingscrest. It is also key to transit just like AD Brindle if Fare goes down.
So yes live and learn, totally the same thing.

Yeah ... expect that holding Vlastrus allows to bypass Brindle and directly attack AD gate keeps accessing scrolls (both AD and stolen) and cutting transport. While Cropsford at best serves as a staging ground fors on Drake. But even that isn't the case in most scenarios as Drake is usually attacked via the Alessia bridge or Sejanus since it offers little strategic value. And Crops is usually take afterwards or burned simultaneously to prevent EP respawning behind AD lines.

Balony, AD comes up the middle bridge flips Crops and then takes Drake.
I see why you guys have trouble, you are obsessed with Alessia bridge.
As an EP the long ride to Valastrus is the last thing on our minds unless we need Elfbane armor. lol
Your buddies on DC might be another story.

The Cyrodiil is ZOS SIEGE SIMULATOR 2018 at the moment and these changes will just "improve" that name.

    .

Not everyone wants to play a COD simulator and only open field fight all the time. Many of us enjoy fighting over and killing people at keeps, outposts and towns

Under normal circumstances with no prior knowledge of the subject, I could agree with the OP. But since that is not the case the map change is actually perfectly fine.

Interesting. Think this will help break things up more than previous attempts. I'll echo that crops was always wrong but given EP's terrain etc where it should have been I can see why they've taken a slightly bent approach on the north east side.

EP have a front line town is not a disadvantage or advantage, it is both. It is an advantage because, you want the faction inner most defenses to be stronger than your outer defenses. It is a disadvantage because your front line town is easily flipped by who ever is taking it. In order to threaten you gate keeps you have to take an outpost over a town. EP needs to look at it as a defense advantage instead of a offensive disadvantage. EP should be more worried about how tight Bruma, Bleakers, Dragonclaw, and the new out post is. None of it will be that far of a ride.

AD still has a easy to take town closer to Black Boot. I Would much rather it be a outpost, but it is not. I do think AD's new outpost needs to be little farther north.

DC has a huge advantage with the current placement of Bruma. This town or the new outpost needs to be father west to eat up the large hole with nothing in it. Also the Eastern defense of the DC line is very tight.

The hole argument about which way an outpost faces is BS. The out post face certain ways because of terrain. If Bleakers or Sejanus was flipped the advantage goes to the attacker because of high ground.

If anything this maps relieves the stress that AD currently has with Cropsford and Vlasterus has put on them the last few years.

I see this new map as more balanced than the current one. The biggest issue I have is the dead spot in DC land where there should be a town or outpost.

Everyone believe in 1 scenario: cap outpost/town first then go to keep. But what if they go direcly to keep? NOTHING changes compared to current cyro when they attack like this. Outposts and towns are useless when keep is flagged. Atacking outlying outpost/town will give enemy time and you will lose suprise factor. Be halpy for a good change rather than thrash talk about everything.
Map seems fine for me also I believe lots of us are ready for challenge :D

AD's new Outpost faces DC. DC's new Outpost faces EP.
    EP's new Outpost faces EP.

Do you see the discrepancy now?

Ep already have a town. DC and AD got better placed outpost because their towns's position is worse than EP's. Outpost's existence is tied to EP's town.

What makes DC's locations better if atackers by pass them?

What makes DC's locations better if atackers by pass them?

You are continuously confusing the physical placement of objectives with the game-play mechanic of Towns/Outposts being attached to a Keep/Castle/Fort and cutting the Transit from them. They are two different things, especially when you are, you know, not able or using the Transit in the first place. Physical placement of the objectives (walking/mounting distance from objective point to point) matters.

They are two very different things. The topic is about the physical placement of the objectives -- not about the fact that anyone on any faction can rush/flag the Keep and cut the transit to the associated Town/Outpost before flipping the associated Town/Outpost.

I don't agree with saying DC outpost AD outpost etc, they can be taken by either faction... you will see AD is still at disadvantage on the flanks and EP and DC are safest... they need to make Weynon priory/Chorrol area have 3 flags through out and be capturable with different spawn points on the town per alliances(update spawn points in vlastrus and crops) and make Cheydinhal capturable as well with well spread out flags and differnt alliance spawn points if captured... this will make more balance. The outposts towards EP can be both good and bad, but mostly as is they are good for EP, if ya make the towns of Chorrol and Cheydinhal capturable the balance will be greater.

the new additions are not out yet, are not properly tested and played during low pops and high pops, yet people are already done simulating the gameplay and who is going to win/have advantage over the other.
